Perhaps I'm just misreading this, but the fall of Ala Mhigo occurred twenty years ago in the Year 1557 of the 6th Astral Era, a year after Suen was born. Castrum Oriens was not constructed until shorty after the Calamity, five years ago, which seems in line with Suen's coming of age, supposing she was 15/16 or so? So there's a fifteen year gap between those two events. So that bit confused me. Other than that it looks pretty solid. And.. err, yeah, while i'm at it, it may deserve its own thread, but what do we know exactly about racial senses, like smell, hearing, etc? Is it different for Mi'qote? Do they hear and especially smell very well? Or is it just on par with everyone else? Just so I know how to play those attributes properly... I usually only play humans in most RPGs, and since I want to try something else for a change... better to do it good.. Feel free to contact me ingame...! My only problem currently is that I do not have access to many outfits due to my age ingame, but I can try to cope with that and patch up something pretty quick. For "The Corp" it's related to her paranoia mostly. She is not crazy, but she can be a bit enthusiastic about many silly things she can make up on the fly, or think they are true... The most obscure something is, the most excited she gets about it. And well, maybe it's true, who knows...

Hello all, I'm working hard - well, as much as my time schedule allows me to - on my character right now and set up a wiki page. I know of the lore only what I have seen so far ingame (MSQ up to lvl 50), as well as what I have read here or on the FF wikia. I took the time to read in detail everything I could on the Keepers too since I really, really want to to portray individuals that feel like part of the world customs and culture, and not just RL projections. Pretty nice discussions to be found on that racial lore by the way! As such, that is of course only a first draft and many details are missing. It is before everything the bare concept and idea exposed here, and I would be glad to get feedbacks, or advice if you have any...

Hello folks, :tonberry: As I am prospecting a bit for LS, connections, and probably a FC too, as a newcomer, this LC really caught my eye (and not just for the nice Amano illustration). While I still have maybe to write a wiki for my character and continue developing her, the rough outline is laid in my mind, and I would like to get in touch. Maybe it could also help me define her further eventually. Surely. You sure strike me as the kind of group that could work for me...

Hi folks, I'm pretty new on FFXIV. I am a - somewhat relatively - experienced RPer with more than a decade of various tabletops and MMOs behind (8 years of Eve, among others, hello Inspiracy folks if there are any here), and it's definitely RP that I enjoy the most in MMO, even though i'm certainly not closed to all the content they can offer. I guess I am pretty much immersionist in my approach - which doesn't prevent me to share OOC channels with others RPers, quite the contrary. From experience I usually have the tendency to get more involved in things than I usually foresaw... Maybe i'm just very dedicated, we will see! I have migrated recently on Balmung after 2 weeks in the game, and i'm currently trying to get in touch with the community, also looking at linkshells and FCs.. Of course, I am not as active as I was before - a job to tend to, etc. Speaking of RL, I play on the EU TZ, and I heard that the community is active enough that you don't really have dead times, which is a big plus? I have also noticed very alarming latencies at intervals on Balmung compared to where I started (Hyperion). Connection is often labeled as "poor" when I connect, and I am not sure what to think of that... I only played 2 evenings on Balmung for now, and i'm a bit annoyed at that. I already faced a few instances on Hyperion where the lag was so terrible that I was barely able to do one action out of two properly... Rather crippling since I play heal. Is it normal, or just tied to my being in Europe? In any case, really glad to meet you all and looking forward to it, just the time to get accustomed a bit to everything!
