I realized how unspecific I was on my first post so here are some info about Asah. Full name: Asah Naoaki He rarely attends by his first name since he is quite ashamed of it for its feminine tone, so he will usually go by Nao or Naoaki instead. Only extremely close people will be able to call him by his first name. Race: Miqo'te / Keeper He was born a little before the calamity and was left parentless after the occurence. He was soon found and adopted by an elderly couple from the Ishgardian high society, and raised as their own untill his late teens, when both died leaving him everything they had. He left Ishgard shortly after to live on his own. Age: early twenties Alignment: True Neutral Occupation: Scholar / Student Since he was left with a substantial amount, Nao doesn't really have the need to work or make money. He sometimes accepts tutoring jobs or sells his bakings and recepies for local establishments. Appearance: Nao has quite a feminine appearance and is often mistaken by a young boy or girl. **refer to avatar art RP Hooks: • your character is from Ishgard or Ishgard's high society • your character is a scholar/needs tutoring • your character is a merchant/owns a tavern or bakery As I said bellow I'm open to casual RP and Mature RP as well! Hello RPC! Long time no see! I'm a long time FFXIV player who started out RPing but eventually grew tired of it and became a regular player. I recently re-did my character and I guess the spark to RP just came back as soon as I finished things up in character creation hehe. I still have a long way to go with character building, but I feel like giving rp a shot again is the best way to figure my characters personality. Hey there! Well, I have been playing Asah (my character) as a so called 'scholar' for a while now, and this is the background story I came up with to make it more 'possible' since playing as a scholar can be tricky... specially when you involve nym and fairies. So, Asah actually is an Arcanist, she joined the arcanist guild when she was young since she wanted to follow her mothers path. The thing is, her mother was a healer (conjurer) so, at the arcanist guild, wich was her only option back then, she started to look for ways to focus her studies in healing, rather than war or combat. At the time she meet her tutor, an old elezen who happend to be a scholar. He had contact with the fairies, and a background in wars (as the scholar lore describes them...), knew about Nym and etc... He then accepted to teach her some of what he knew, wich means that, Asah is a scholar by knowledge. She knows everything that one would have to know about the matter, spells, history... But, she isn't a real scholar, at least not the scholar the lore describes, since ICly she doesnt have the fairies (it would be almost impossible for her to 'find them', keeping in mind they are rare and almost conflic with the whole "warrior of light / special snowflake" jazz) So yeah, that is what I came up with. Hopefully I helped and of course, i'm open to suggestions! ^3^

Hey there! As someone who is also ICly married, I would like to tell you my thoughts on this topic, and maybe help you a little bit. As Nebula and the others said, you have to talk it out. I think the best is doing it ICly and also OOCly, why? Because I don't think anything you do ICly will work if you don't let your partner know how you are feeling. I think the best thing to do is talking to your partner about wich boundaries you wouldn't like to cross, or what things you don't want to give up on, even being in a marriage. You guys need to talk it out OCCly and find a 'common place' where both of you will be having fun with the RP. After this is done, and hopefully you both understood and respected each others wishes, you can discuss it IC. I think communication is one of the most important thing in any relationship, any! IRL or In a roleplay. So try to talk it out before actually doing something you might regret later :moogle:
