I have a tribal-style Viera that I am actively looking for contacts for. I am looking for all types of RP, so I am really open to the surprises that may come my way. My character is fairly calm and down to earth. She only hunts and tracks given a good purpose as she still recognizes the green word to some extent. While she has a tribal flare, I have tried very hard to make sure she still has a sense of refinement and a feminine feel. Most of her hooks would revolve around the outdoors or the hunt at this moment in time. She does keep a hawk for tracking which may even peek others interests. I'm open to all types of suggestions so feel free to reach out me. I am EST and have interesting hours.

Super happy with this guild! Not only are they friendly, but also spot on with their RP and desire to RP. Great group of people who are helpful in both PVE and RP elements. Looking forward to watch this Ishgardian RP flourish.

I agree that the bio luminescence is a little to much... but in all fairness it's a pretty cool adaptation of water creatures. Anywho I'm glad to see the thought of an Au Ra being a bit more specialized physically isn't all that implausible. I think specializations might help to add a nice layer of depth to an individual character.

Alright, so opinions on a character concept for Au Ra. One thing I really like about the Au Ra is I can really make them appear to have affinities towards certain elements of nature. In particular I have become fascinated with the idea of an Au Ra that after generations of her family performing a specialized water job would have caused them to develop traits particularly suited for aquatic pursuits. -Wider paddle like tail for better swimming - Streamlined horns for less drag in the water - Possibly horns that have developed the ability to have bio luminescence in the hollow of the ear horn canal that would provide a light source in dark water, could be an evolved family trait or some type of alchemy? - Skin tone made to camouflage easier into the aquatic surroundings. Those are just a handful of the physical aspect that have struck me. The question is if that type of adaptation is feasible?

Thanks everyone for the replies... Even though I've been running around on my Hyur I think I will go back to character creation and fidget more with looks that pull me to something more. I've got quiet a few concepts it just is going to be the race that pulls my choice together!

Hey Everyone! I am new to the FF role playing community, but in no way new to roleplaying! I've role played on-line for a minimum of 16 years now and am always looking for my next adventure! That being said I am having serious issues with my racial choice. I like the Elezen but am also debating on a shorter race like Hyur. As much as I like Au Ra and Miqote I wonder if they are just too many? Whatever I play their back story will be rooted into the Elezen due to my choice of name. Abrielle Mignonette. I'd love to hear peoples opinions on racial choices!
