Really looking forward to when (if) this class gets released, did a write up during beta on how it could work. Basically the way I see it is it would be best if they made an entirely new class that could branch into both blue mage and beast master. Reason for combining them being they both utilize enemy abilities one by imitating them the other by controlling them. I'll drop the write up here, its a little on the long side though. hunter class blue mage beast master As far as the weapon choice it seems like scimitars and other middle eastern swords could be their own class of weapon like they were in tactics advanced and a-2.

Need help picking what to go with for a new forum pic, this is a work in progress so its just black and white for now, all feedback is appreciated. Again these are works in progress but hopefully they look like the FFXI and XIV crabs.

You can always roll on both servers as others have mentioned to test the waters, but the reddit community for FFXIV hasn't been that bad at least not what I've seen of it both on site and in game. The majority of them have been on gilgamesh for the P3 beta so if you've played there you already have an idea what its like if not test it out and see how it goes.

Not a guild leader or anything like that but I would be more than happy to help out where/however I can with events. RP Style Amount of RP (light, medium, heavy): Heavy, I generally like to be IC as much as possible when questing, doing dungeons/raids, crafting, ect. Views on RP combat and injuries: No problem with rolling for combat (I mean where would we be without DnD?). That having been said I do prefer to just straight up /duel it out when possible, with rules established before hand of course(no potions, no circle strafing, no limit breaks if you are in a group, ect). As far as injuries/death are concerned I don't think it'll be that much of an issue what with being brought back from the dead (Its alive, its alive!!) one white mage away according to the lore. Views on IC romance: As long as both parties establish rules before hand (isn't funny how similar romance and bar stabbings are?) so that no one has any hurt feelings IRL and so it doesn't create any drama in game/guild. Views on non-romantic RP (family ties, etc): no problem with it at all, hell walk up to me as my long lost lalafell grandpa, I'll be thoroughly surprised and do my part to make it work!
