Hiya, Relatively new guy here in terms of FF XIV. Been playing only a couple of months but I love the game thoroughly. Decided to dip my toes in the RP end of the pool as well, or at least lurk and observe. I'm a long time RPer both in pnp's and mmo's. Haven't really participated in MMO rp for a long time due to some negative experiences, but since I found the general community in FF to be friendly, decided to risk it and check out the RP scene as well. I will be on the Light/Very Light end of the spectrum but don't hesitate to come and say hi if you feel like it. I can be usually found in Limsa or Idyllshire. EVE Online taught me an important lesson about sharing personal details with strangers on the internet, so won't be delving more into my backgrounds. RP Style Amount of RP (light, medium, heavy): Light / Very Light Views on RP combat and injuries: I'm alright with this happening to some degree, but it needs out of character moderation and communication between participants. No-one outside myself will not have any say in what damage is permanent to my character, and most certainly whether or not if it will result in the death of my character. I will not tolerate godmoding of any kind, it will result in the termination of the scene on the spot. Views on IC romance: I am open to all facets of romantic RP. I think everyone involved need to have a clear understanding of boundaries and the difference between OOC and IC. Still looking for that Roegalady of Eloah's heart. Views on non-romantic RP (family ties, etc): I'm not keen on this but, once I learn to trust the other player I might consider it. Views on lore: I try to respect lore best I can, but I am not all that well versed in the deeper facets of the it yet. Views on chat functions (/say, /linkshell, etc): I most likely treat most of everything OOC at first, unless you are clearly donning on your wizard hat and robes.
