This is merely from looking through both of the videos - both at starting the game at the first time, and when you let the title screen stay for too long. You see some of the main NPCs praying at the shrines, and the symbols of the specific person of the Twelve light up. So that would make me think there was at least an acknowledgement from that person of the Twelve.

In general, this pretty much sums up my attitude toward the problem. Its sort of like SWTOR and its storyline quests. Just because it's happening to my toon, doesn't mean the Character itself is experiencing it. Because if what's happening to my toon is what's happening to my character, then we're going to be having a lot of characters with some very similar stories once they reach a certain point on their life. So no, my character did not fight off a huge golem that some mysterious man was surprised he lived through, he's really just traipsing about the Shroud helping to control the Ixial population by having them spayed or neutered. And I'll give you an internet for getting the reference.

Also, lets not forget that following launch, a lot of people are steaming through content. So RP might start out a little low, and as people start to tire of the leveling, will come and RP.

Since a Duskwight is described as.. existing outside the bounds of society, doing things that society frowns on, I thought Marauder would fit perfectly. Then I found out it wasn't a DPS great weapon class. But a tank. I said .

Met a couple RPers during the meeting that were outside our little beginnings of a circle. And not once did we get trilled during the meeting. One was even brand new, and seemed to fall right in after we dragged her out of her shell.

Ooooh. With an intro like that, I'm very much so looking forward to playing with you. Nothing like finding new and interesting ways to describe the mundane - to paint a new and engaging scene from the scent of wildflowers drifting down the windswept plain, to the scrape-and-sigh a weary adventurer sidling up to a table after a long day on the field. Of course, it would help if I could create a character in both servers so I can dip my toes into both worlds.

lol its alright everyone wants to party with the new kids. lol just kidding before someone comes in and sets off a volcano *looks around cautiously* Just make an alt to party with us. An archer/lancer/conjurer should do so you can be right smack in Gridania for the event. Hopefully you will be able to by tomorrow. Is there an online map or easy way to travel to this place if I was to choose a different class? I'm not familiar with anything so, something to research while i'm waiting for gilgamesh to clear up. The only way would be to finish through the story quests until you get Airship pass sadly. And I would love to Rock, but I have a feeling if I start making alts, it would just end up badly ^^ I hope everyone that shows up on Gilgamesh enjoys the party/gathering! I have to level up to the airship? Well that stinks! And with new character creation being iffy.. man, I hope I'll be able to attend.

RP Style Amount of RP (light, medium, heavy): Heavy whenever its possible. I have absolutely no problem RPing my weekends away and not getting one xp point. I also try to become at least basically aquainted with the lore and follow it whenever I can. Views on RP combat and injuries: Give a hit, take a hit. I don't actively seek out combat, but in the event that it happens, I have no problem with my character coming out of it battered and bloody. I generally hope that my RP partner on the other side feels the same. Views on IC romance: For my characters, One of the things I hope for them is to find that special someone. What happens through the course of the relationship, both publically and behind closed doors, is a way for character evolution to happen - my characters are dynamic and romantic relationships is one of the ways for views and attitudes to change and for hidden characteristics to come to the forefront. Views on non-romantic RP (family ties, etc): Absolutely. Most RP, afterall, are chance encounters, or a group of friends getting together to do some quaffing in the local inn. Or going out to a dungeon and RPing their way through it. Or RPing an expedition to go do group leves. I'm cool with it all! Views on lore: Needed and necessary. Its what binds us all together in the setting. Deliberatly stomping on the feet of lore more or less brings the character in from another universe, which is not cool. Views on chat functions (/say, /linkshell, etc): I'll do it all. Public RP, linkshell, tells. RP is RP and I wants it, my precious. III. Thank you, you three! I started to fall in love with the game during the first weekend of Phase 3. And I always.. I mean.. ALWAYS.. am looking for some RP to get down with. Though since this is the first taste I of the game I'm getting a taste of, I don't think I can join the legacy Linkshells. Though also from what I've seen, there's some things coming together on the Leviathan server that I'm going to have to check out when the game re-opens tomorrow morning.

Hello! I'm one of those many new people who got beta access to ARR and have quickly started looking for a RP community to plug in to. I've been RPing in one form or another since.. 1997 in chatrooms and whatnot, extending to EQ when it launched.. and every MMO I played from DAoC to Rift and everything in between - its the RP that got me to hang around. So this name was dropped to me, and I'm here to say.. HELLO!
