Axl eased back into his stool and made use of his great height to lean across the bar and pour himself more ale from the tap, taking it down in two big gulps. "Ye' wouldn't happen to have some roast aldghoat would ye'?" he inquired a bit more calmly and politely (as polite as he could be). He reached inside his pouch and pulled out a card bearing the image of an armored elezen slaying a large reptilian creature, and examined a note wrapped around it.

I would only RP with english speakers tbh, but I don't see a problem with saying something, then RP'ing as if it was said in a foreign language.

I hate character's that are overly special. "they have been alive for 3000 years and are the chosen one, but they have amnesia so they think they are young and they are extremely skilled in combat, and have the power to destroy the world, they have crystal inside their body that is the key to the univer- LET ME BE THE MAIN CHARACTER!!!!"

I have eRP'd a couple times, and it was either a product of a long RP relationship, or it was just something caused by steamy tension between my character, and another RP'er's character during an RP.

Xaefan, I thought I was the only one who could be up this late?! THIS WAS SUPPOSED TO BE MY TIME AS THE ONLY MAN ON EARTH! That baby is adorable, I hope someday when I have kids of my own they will look like that.

Axl snatched a glass from one of his fellow bar mates and chugged down the whole glass, to the victim's dissatisfaction. he lifted the glass to the elezen woman and shouted " 'Oy! Play us a Ishgardian mountain tune!" then wiping his mouth and lifting his sword up by the sheathe to encourage her.

Axl slumped in defeat and motioned to Aveline for a drink. "First my fight ends up in a draw and now this? I should have kept to Ul'Dah." Axl looked over at the elezen and grinned as images of what he thought "performance" meant ran into his head, watching attentively.

Axl grinned and followed Aveline. "Then lets start over, I am Axl, and to what do I owe the honor, miss-...?" he said, sitting on the stool next to her, hoisting his sword up onto his back.

(I am a hyur) "Thanks mate." Axl said, glancing at the lalafel and turning back to survey the people in the room. Axl noticed the Miqo'te looking his way and gave a cocky wink. "Barkeep! Hurry it up!" he shouted, pounding a clenched fist on the table to get the barkeep's attention.

Axl hoisted himself up, using his sword as a crutch to get up. The people of the village bustling around him, carrying out their daily errands. Axl lifted his head in the direction of a nearby tavern, slowly making his way towards the doorway, wading through the people, brushing against his tattered clothes. Finally arriving at the entrance to the bar, swinging the door open and walking in, sweat and blood running down his face, stumbling to the bar. "Hey, gimme whatever this is worth." he said, placing 10 gil on the counter, and dropping his body onto one of the stools, and looking around curiously at the bar's inhabitants.

I enjoy romance RP, because it builds character developement, and makes for a good sub plot in supplement to the big shibang, I have done a number in XI. in XIV my character is quite a romantic under his flirtatious (almost womanizing) exterior. I probably would get into an RP relationship on this character if it arises because I plan on it being part of his developement, he lost a lover because of his gambling and involvement with the trouble maker's of ul'dah, that blow causes him to keep his mind focused on swordsmanship, so he wouldn't have to think about it, although it stays in the back of his mind, a newly kindled flame would be important in him growing up in a way.

Axl dug his foot into the leveled dirt of the makeshift fighting arena, moving into a combat stance raising his shield to cover all but his eyes, rushing forward with the wooden sword provided to him by the pit master, the crowd of gambler's around the arena cheering and whooping, waving their money. They had all bet on the hulking Rogaedyn that was deemed champion of the pit, his thirteen consecutive wins had given them confidence in him, swinging at Axl wildly with his two handed club, all Axl had to do was knock him out, and he would win all the gil in the pit. He brought the hilt of the sword into the Rogaedyn's stomach, but to no effect "Damn!" he was able to spit out just before taking a sweep in the side of his leg, sending him across the pit. Recovering in mid air and skidding across the dirt, using his feet as a break, and deftly jumping at the hulking brute, smashing the blade into the side of his head, blood flew from the Rogaedyn's mouth following smashed teeth and saliva. Then Axl made a big mistake, he stopped and waited to see if he had won, the Rogaedyn wiped off his mouth and charged, Axl counter charging as well. As if from a theatre comedy, they both brought their weapons down on eachother's heads, Axl felt as though electricity run through his entire body, he felt a wetness from the top of his head, was it raining? the liquid dripped into his mouth with a sharp metallic taste "D-damn" he struggled to say, before both of the fighters fell backwards, unable to fight. "Keep your money folks, its a draw!" Everyone screamed in outrage, attracting a lot of attention from the surrounding market stalls. Several hands drug Axl from the pit and into the street, where he exhaustedly sat against the wall of one of the stone buildings. "I almost had it...".

I don't think RP'ing other languages would be too necessary, as far as I would go would be accents.

Innocence is not cliche if done right, I think you have the right Idea.

What about people that act like either cloud, or sephiroth, those guys are the scum of the earth.

I am tired of mithra (or miqo'te in this case) that act overly cutesie and innocent, and adopt some guy as her BIIIIIIIIIIG BROOOOOOOOOOOTHER ^___^ ^___^ >.< >.< >///////////< God I hate them.

MY SCARS ARE FROM MY DARK AND DEPRESSING PAST WHEN MY PARENTS WERE KILLED BY A DEMON THAT ATTACKED MY VILLAGE WHEN I WAS VERY YOUNG. That's usually what you get right there.

My characters are usually varied, over the 7 years that I have RP'd in XI, I have matured a bit. My Axl Klaavas character is just going to be, at bare bones (before character development) a bit of a newbie to the adventuring trade, although a little cocky, pretty much the blank slate to create a much more diverse character in the future, thats the way to go for me this time around.

I am tired of all the silent, brooding, sit in the corner while everyone else is talking, and mutter a few words occasionally, with a dark past guys.
