(Re-entering, I am all finished with the annoyances) Axl walked casually into Al'Mian, a jingling bag in his hand, and a grin on his face. "Time to get some food!" he said excitedly to himself, patting his empty stomach. Making his way to a meat vendor, and flashing his gil with pride. "I will take that one... and that one... and all of those" he said to the vendor, pointing at almost everything on the racks.

This kind of reminds me of how certain character's in GTAIV were, Johnny Klebbitz for example, you would hear about him and what he is doing throughout the storyline, and a couple times you actually work alongside him. I am imagining something like that, from my perspective.

Axl had begun to get tipsy by then, and was sitting with his face in his arms, resting on the table letting out periodic hiccups, he got up and stumbled to the bar again "G-gimme some *hic* cactus fruit please." he asked drunkenly to Aveline.

Axl continued to observe Faythiel for a moment, pushing himself up to stand. Walking towards the lalafell and taking a seat. "You wouldn't have happened to see an old Elezen holding a pouch full of gil did you?" he inquired to the lalafell before him.

yeah, funny thing about that, I was talking to one of my friends from XI, and I was explaining the combat system to her, and she said "There isn't auto attack? D: I don't think I will get it then." and when I asked why, she replied "because I usually just initiate the battle and then do something else till its done." and I said "So you're not gonna buy it because you actually have to play the game?" it didn't make sense to me.

Axl grinned at her look and admired her dancing, leaning forward to get a better look. "Not bad." he said aloud as she danced. When the dance was over, he smiled in her direction, showing his enjoyment.

I like to make my character similar to a large rock with a face painted on it, the face being the base personality. over time, things will happen to the rock, shaping and moulding it through experience, and then you have an interesting, polished rock. I am a rock.

I shoot lightening out of my NOSE thank you very much. The majority of cliche's come from the younger crowd, its usually always coming from the people who watch bleach/naruto (crappy anime in general) who want to immitate it.

Axl sighed and turned around on his stool, focusing his attention on the Elezen, scratching his chin and yawning. He began boredly toying with the links in his armor, watching for the client he was supposed to meet with in the bar. "This reward better make up for the gil I lost in the blood ring." He muttered to himself, nodding to the Elezen and gulping down the new glass.

It can be really fun, as long as its diverse, if the character's are completely the same, it gets boring.
