I want in too! =3 What... is in your character's bag? L'ohke is a bit of a hoarder so his bag would be filled to the brim with useless crap, together with important stuff. What do they consider essentials for survival? A waterskin, some dried rations and a beat up, small children's book. Some nuts and berries for chewing on when rations and food are scarce. He tries to keep everything he can use for some minor alchemy in a seperate place. What are their keepsakes that push them forward? No keepsakes, he is always saying he will go back there some day. How much room is there for things to collect from the wild? Never enough. It's a medium sized bag and he don't carry much of personal value but when you pick up things like a 'funny shaped bone'... How much Gil would they carry on their person? A few houndred, enough for a decent meal and a bed. If they have a chocobo they would haul...? No. Imagine all the crap he could collect then. What kind of things would they leave behind? Nothing. He fill the sack to the brim and then spend several agonizing hours trying to decide what he can do without. What would they discard that you currently keep? Nothing. But perishable food would be the first to go when he actually have to throw things away.

RP Style Amount of RP (light, medium, heavy): Medium to heavy, depending on the mood. I'd like to get to know the people behind the character a bit too. Views on RP combat and injuries: If there is something that can be healed, it would be alright. I expect to be asked first though. Views on IC romance: L'ohke would probably feel flattered, but would also rebuff any romantic relationships. He is not likely to answer why. Views on non-romantic RP (family ties, etc): Completely awsome, and add more dept to the character, that might even surprise me. Views on lore: I try to skim most lore but as I am only human, I don't alway remember everything correctly. I like to try and keep things inside the lore though. Views on chat functions (/say, /linkshell, etc): I enjoy rp-ing in /say rather than stricly /tell which I mostly use for OOC questions. I'm flexible though. III. I was about to reply =p I did play FFXI but was known as Lioth there, and heck if I remember all the servers and LS I went through before I stopped playing. All of you, thank you for your welcome. I'll try to stick around, and try to be a bit less shy, at least with posting!

I was pointed in this direction in my welcome post and after I've read through some of it, I thought it might be a good idea. I've been rp-ing for a few years, though mostly in tabletop games and chat rooms, so MMO rp is a whole new level for me. English is not my first language either so beware a few spelling/grammar errors. I try to catch them thought. I have two characters, both of which have some back story planned and written out but is in need of tweaks. They also have very different personalities so I'd love a chance to test out how they would respond in various situations. Also lore. I love lore. Tell me more =3 Currently on Odin through the Beta but I don't have a problem restarting anywhere(as I've done that thrice this beta already...) and am online during EU times (GMT+1).

Also on EU(GMT+1) and I'll most likely be on Balmung with one or two characters, as well as doing some server hopping to keep up with other friends.

Hi. Domos here, and I thought I should try to make an introduction! Been roleplaying for some years now, albeit mostly through chat or tabletop gaming. Never really found a group in FFXIV but I hope that'll change now. Been playing since 1.0 and find myself running around and exploring and hunting down lore than doing any actual work on my levels. Kinda shy but I hope to work around that. Nice to meet you all!

As I have yet to actually rp with someone I won't be able to answer for any community as a whole but I'll give you my thoughts around it. I personally see no reason why you couldn't play your character as a more 'civilized' person, regardless if s/he is a tribe member or not. To me, lore is to help me device a background for the character I want to play and not a 'law' or set of rules I need to follow or I'd be doing it wrong. I have two Miqo'te characters, both Seekers, one being a tribe member and one being not. One simply did not grow up in a tribe and has lived his whole life in Limsa, and the other left the tribe, and has already learned and adapted to various type of cultures. One carries a common-sounding name and the other has kept his tribe name. I could go on for a good length about their back stories and ideas but I'll hold off a bit for a moment, as I'm not completely done with my ideas yet. Just my two cents.
