I'm sure S'demyx wouldn't be too much of a brutal teacher who would most likely beat the crap out of L'ohke instead of actually helping. Besides, just spray him with water, he'll flip his sh*t. So utterly tempting and yet I am not sure I want to risk L'ohke's life because he can't help bein' a smartass to S'demyx. To stay on topic though, there is a lot of ways to handle the issue, and to me it'd depend on how I'd created my character... As an example, K'ahna is completely useless in anything BUT magic, while I have a third on the wings that probably wouldn't touch to save their own life.

Hello fellow old FFXI player =3 Welcome to the community! Hopefully you'll have a great time here and meet as many wonderful people as I did!

Several classes will be out of my reach simply because of how I intend for my character to be. As an example, he isn't bright/interested enough to become an Arcanist nor is he, ah, fashionably talanted enough to pick up weaving. He is also horrible with whatever skill that requires an actual weapon but could get better if someone took the time to mentor him...if it happens, it'll happen IC. I'll be starting my character out as a PUG -> Monk with a rather untamed/dangerous talent in magic simply to be able to go THM later. I am one of those people who take great delight in trying everything and maxing as much as I can so picking out what I wanted IC early one was important for me.

Really bad place for a maint. huh? Well, if anyone I rp-ed with still wanna be friends when Balmung is back up, I'm still L'ohke Tia there. Drop me a line =3

Not really a problem! (Maybe they're siblings or something, both very bad at hunt!) But I digress, we've more than one oddball in the group already and you're more than welcome! No one is gonna tell you you can't be an arcanist or an oddball Tia because our character sound a bit similar....it all depends on how we play them =3 I'll add you on skype, and add you to the planning group if you want! We're nice and crazy and can answer questions!

Yes! Please join! We need Tias (*A*) My Miqo'te is supposed to be my alt as well, but I have the feeling I might end up playing her the most *amused*. I was going to make a Keeper, but the way this is turning out, I might end up with two Seekers instead. Also, to whoever it was that linked that Family Echo site, thanks, I just wasted an hour digging around my notes for all the names and relationships between my characters just to build a family tree. Either way, you may put me down on the family list as K'ahna Tia, age currently in the early twenties. I don't mind if anyone want a brother/half-brother/cousin to push around, I haven't planned his family much *yet*.

You guy's are sure putting alot of work into this! I'd like to actually join the K'tribe as a Tia, as I already have an alt or two planned and I rather enjoy playing Seekers. I'm afraid my main will remain in the L'tribe though, the name just doesn't work otherwise =3

Although my character may be a bit of a ditz, I'd be willing to help you out if you got things up and running. I'd really like this to happen, if only because the potential rp one could get from it sounds very interesting.

Thank you both =3 I'm having a blast trying to decide how the family looks and I'm surprised by how much history I'm getting just by making their pictures. Currently working on their parents but their father is being difficult! Also abnormalDiety, I don't mind doing a quick sketch. Probably won't get around to it today, since it's getting a tad late but I'll probably manage something tomorrow. I don't color though, due to the aforementioned tablet issues so it'll be simple black(grey?) and white. Any particular expression you'd like?

I just doodle you guys..with pencils. Cuz I don't know where my tablet is and I never properly learned to use it either. But, I had found drawing characters today, so I thought I could at least share.

From what I read on your characters view on tribal life, I think it'd be a blast if my character met yours. You'd blow his mind and make him think really hard on the things he was taught as a kid. On another note, if people are less inclined to change their names, how about a off-shoot tribe from the usual tribes, one consisting of Miqo'te who might have left their original tribes for a reason but still feel the pull to stay connected to other tribal miqo'te?

I'm planning on Seeker and one Keeper, both male, although my Seeker is currently in the Viper(L) tribe. I can also be flexible though. Same with the Keeper tribe, if anyone is interested in that.

Turning 27 in November, pleasantly surprised by all the various ages here. Been rp-ing on forums since I was 15-ish and then some DnD and the like. Haven't rp-ed much in a game before so it'll be a new challenge. No kids, standard 8-4 work and lotsa pets.

I found this whole thread pretty interesting, and it has given me a few things to mull over with my own character. I will be playing a male Sunseeker myself, as part of a tribe. He doesn't see anything wrong with the culture but has little interest in fighting for the title of Nunh. To him, the world has so much more to offer than a title and breeding rights. He is however, widely interested in other cultures and opinions so perhaps his opinion will change, with time.
