Hello!

Recommended Posts

Hi! I've recently bought the free trial and I've decided to try rping. I'm not really sure what to do, especially since I can't get into either of the popular rp servers. This is my first mmo too so I'm kind of stuck on what to do.

I have a couple of ideas for characters.

First of all, I have a couple of questions. Since I'm using the free trial will this prevent me from doing anything? If it does, how do I get the full version of the game? Also, which other servers are good for rping? I'm from England so my time zone is get since that might affect things.

I think that's it really. I don't have a wiki of my character yet but I do have a charahub page for them at https://charahub.com/character/521069/Sisike-Sike. Other than that, I look forward to rping with you all!

The free trial does limit some parts of the game (I think it's got a level cap of 20?) and prevents you from sending tells, but I don't think it will interfere with your roleplaying.

As for getting onto Gilgamesh or Balmung, I know it can be a hassle! Balmung's creation is almost always locked down, but I know that the mornings are best: You might see some luck around 9 or 10 your time?

You should be able to purchase the game digitally through the Mog Station website, which is accessible through the Lodestone (and other places). Account management all seems to be done through that portal.

Finally, since this is your first MMO, I'd encourage you to get out there and just play the game first! The RP is most certainly not going anywhere, and even if you end up having to reroll Sisike on another world your experience with the game will always make catching up to yourself a lot easier. Explore, find out about the world and just immerse yourself!

I hope you decide to stick around.

Thanks for answering me! It's helped a lot. I think I'll spend a couple of days getting the hang of things before transferring worlds, since it doesn't seem to be too expensive, and getting the full game, so expect to see a lot more of me on the forum.
