Melkire Posted June 18, 2015 Share #1 Posted June 18, 2015 The community is going to be moving into brand new content with Heavensward. This will naturally include Main Story Quest content, which will be ripe with spoilers. We ask that everyone be considerate of the fact that many members will be going through the 3.0 story at their own pace. What this means is the following: Do Not Post Spoilers in Thread Titles Tag Your Thread Titles with [spoilers] At The Beginning If They Contain Spoilers Make Use of Spoiler Tags in Your Posts Where Appropriate Moderators Reserve the Right to Strictly Enforce the Above The Only Exception to the Above is the Town Square (IC) Board. Thank You for Your Understanding! 2 Link to comment
Unnamed Mercenary Posted June 18, 2015 Share #2 Posted June 18, 2015 Another thing to add on this is to request that the Terms of Service are respected as well. Ripping game data (maps, textures, music) is not allowed, as noted in the Materials Usage License. http://support.na.square-enix.com/rule.php?id=5382 Heavensward hype is real. Let's all respect the content creators' wishes. Link to comment
OttoVann Posted June 18, 2015 Share #3 Posted June 18, 2015 Real talk should we not have like discussion about..."Where is this random thing for this GSM quest / not talk about them?" Not upset just wondering. Link to comment
Unnamed Mercenary Posted June 18, 2015 Share #4 Posted June 18, 2015 A thread like that should be perfectly fine! (Just be mindful of the spoilers). --personal thoughts below-- ...I know I'd be pretty upset if I saw something that spoiled the quests for me. So it's not a "don't post this", but more a "use the spoiler tags and name the threads appropriately" Link to comment

Melkire Posted June 18, 2015 Author Share #7 Posted June 18, 2015 Discussing game mechanics, quest requirements, crafting, and things of that nature should be fine. We only ask that any information pertinent to new story content or new lore be scrutinized and placed in spoilers if necessary. I highly doubt "you need five of X item and six of Y to craft commodity Z" qualifies as spoiler-worthy. Likewise for any lore that might be attached to crafting classes/jobs or anything in a similar vein. Link to comment
