Kage Posted October 23, 2015 Share #1 Posted October 23, 2015 AFTER THE LONG WAIT... Trails in the SKY SC will be released October 29, 2015!!! It will cost $30 on both PC and PSP(Vita). Also: “A release on the European PS Store will follow closely behind this North American debut, with more details to be shared shortly.” This precedes the Trails of Cold Steel series release this fall/winter? Dec 2015?? Ao no Kiseki and Zero no Kiseki (Trails to Azure and Trails to Zero) are skipped but not off the table. But for a company like XSEED games, giving us Cold Steel brings us closer to the recent installments without completely fucking up the plots (As the games have been made so that you can play them out of order, they just give different perspectives) as well as not putting games out on well... phased out platforms. Zero and Ao games were developed PSP initially and Cold Steel series for PS4 and PSvita. This means the Cold Steel release is aiming for a tight window. Anyway, who likes the Trails games? ? Zoya Posted October 23, 2015 Share #2 Posted October 23, 2015 Well, I only ever got to play Trails in the Sky first chapter (on steam), but I've been waiting rather anxiously for the second chapter to be available to me. I really liked the combat system and the, uhm...weirder parts of the story. And I'm a sucker for the manga style. I think I got a little too invested in the characters, though. As for the other games, I didn't even know they existed, but now that I know I'll def check them out, so thanks for the note! Link to comment

TheLastCandle Posted October 26, 2015 Share #4 Posted October 26, 2015 I really, really enjoyed the first game. I'm extremely thankful to Xseed for localizing all of these great Falcom titles. Looking forward to TitS SC and Cold Steel. Hoping they bring us Tokyo Xanadu and the new Ys when it comes out as well. Link to comment

Do you have a vita? If you have the save, don't mind buying the digital version you can essentially do that. This way you still have the save info. If not, the Steam version isn't horrible. (it does not like me dual monitoring D:) Link to comment
Kage Posted November 3, 2015 Author Share #6 Posted November 3, 2015 Some of you, not just Trails fans, may find this a great read. A tale of the JRPG localization's hurdles and whatnots. http://kotaku.com/the-curse-of-kiseki-how-one-of-japans-biggest-rpgs-bar-1740055631 Link to comment

Aldotsk Posted November 3, 2015 Share #11 Posted November 3, 2015 I've played most of JPN/KOR versions of Legend of Heroes since like long time ago, I can't remember. But, with all of those grindings and yet some bosses can be agonizing to beat them can be pretty gruesome. I'll be READY. Okay maybe not. Kage, this will be us ^ Link to comment

Kage, this will be us ^ This OVA really pissed me off because I always build Estelle into a monster physical damage dealer, to the point where her basic attacks are outdamaging other characters' S-Crafts. And she's shown getting her head handed to her basically every time she fights... Meanwhile, on my save files, she's smashing skulls and splattering blood with gleeful abandon. Link to comment
Kellach Woods Posted November 6, 2015 Share #14 Posted November 6, 2015 Escort Quest, the game. Gameplay wise there's a few things that are frustrating but overall it's good for now. Link to comment
