I'm really terrible when it comes to lurking; this whole time I thought I had made a 'greetings!' thread and oops, apparently I did not!

 

In any case--hi! My name is Mandy. I'm kinda an old fart who loves to RP, play video games and read science fiction. I'm a geologist, although currently the job prospects are kinda crap where I live right now, but I'm hanging in there with my husband (who also plays, although the clutches of WoW have taken him for the time being lol) and our furbaby Mocha.

 

I've been an off-again/on-again player on the Gilgamesh server for the past year and a half or so but I'm playing casually again these days. I never got seriously cracking at the RP in the game and while I've looked around at what my server had to offer the pickings these days are a little slim. I'm considering a Balmung transfer so I may join the majority of you yet!

 

If anybody happens to be on Gilgamesh like myself feel free to ping me and say hello! I like making new friends  Cheers~

In any case, welcome (out of the shadows)! I'm not familiar with Gilgamesh territory, but I have a few friends here on Balmung that came from there saying the same things you did. Also, I believe Gideon posted their equivalent that should have some options for you should you decide to stay there. I've been on Balmung for a couple of months and RP can be found practically anywhere, from what I've seen, and there are events going on pretty frequently. If you're really trying to spend some time doing some more RP, we'd be happy to have you. Just let me know so I can /poke you.
