Personality.png

"... I don't... really know where I am or how I got here....

But I guess I have to make the most of it while trying to get back home!"

Socially awkward though with a kind heart under a lot of those mixed words and verbal stumbles, Primam seeks to make new connections to help her get back home to where she belongs in Eos. There are a lot of complications that prevent her from really speaking up -- the number one fact being that she has no idea what the customs or etiquette is like among the people of Eorzea -- or the general world of Hydaelyn for that matter. She has never seen Au Ra, Miqo'te, Roegadyn, or any other race that does not look like a human like she where she comes from. However, she does her best to interact with them as she would any other people whilst employing polite mannerisms of not staring too long at what are considered oddities to her.

Though she puts on a friendly face and does her best to interact in a pleasant manner, Primam is very lost and upset on the inside. She has no idea what her life in Hydaelyn entails, and that frightens her to a point where she sometimes freezes up during jobs where she is sent to aid and assist other adventurers utilising healing magics that she has excelled in since arriving in Yanxia. This is especially apparent when these jobs can prove to be quite fatal. She is doing what she can to get over this anxiety and panic, though it has not been easy for her as her mind thinks of many scenarios involving her fall in Hydaelyn, thus never making it back to her home.

Due to the nature of her being on the star of Hydaelyn, Primam does not really speak too much about being from the star of Eos. It is a guarded tidbit of information, as she does not wish to draw unnecessary and unwanted attention to herself. She has learned to adopt many mannerisms littered about Hydaelyn when it comes to speaking colloquially, though there are times where it is evident that she speaks with a foreign backstory. Typically, Primam will seek out guidance from those that reside at the Wayfarer's Rest or information from Cynemund about she should go about certain manners of speaking or displaying certain nuggets of knowledge.

In order to keep the fact that she is from a different star altogether close to her, Primam has taken to telling people that she was apparently born in Ala Ghiri, but was soon taken to Ul'dah to grow up. She has studied much of the mannerisms of the locals to speak similarly to them, though some of her own mannerisms from Eos slip out every now and then. She is getting better about it, though hand waves much of her slip ups as just odd mannerisms that she grew up with and developed with her twin brother, Tandem.

Backstory.png

"This place feels so... strange to me.

How can you use magic without permission of a royal?"

Primam is a lost soul who found herself stripped of her home on the star of Eos after an odd fluctuation of magical energy eight years into the Starscourge that plunged her world into an everlasting darkness and stripped her and the other royally appointed Kingsglaive and Crownsguard of their magical capability to some extent. She is not sure what happened, and assumed that when she awoke in Eorzea, that perhaps the Starscourge finally lifted from the lands. However, once she saw she was cast out in lands unfamiliar to her, she felt her throat tighten, and she attempted to convince herself that what she was experiencing was a dream. This was not the case.

Making her way close to a town with a giant, slowly spinning crystal she did not recognise is where Primam met with a man by the name of Cynemund Blacke. He regarded her with disdain, thinking her a new representative from the Garlean Empire, though with time helping the locals of Namai made Cynemund eventually open up to her and help her to Kugane where Primam revealed to him that she genuinely does not know where she is, and even asked if there was a way to get to the land of Lucis. This was met with confusion from Cynemund as he slowly started to believe the fact that she was not Garlean, and that she was not someone even from the star of Hydaelyn.

Due to Cynemund's own matters that he wished to tend to, Primam was left to Kugane with some gil to at least be able to stay at the Bokairo Inn for a few nights while she looked for work. Luckily, it had not taken long for Primam to just start putting herself out there and earning favour with some of the locals as she offered to help when it looked like someone needed it. The more she worked, the more she got to overhear certain gossip... and certain gossip led to hearing about this place called the Wayfarer's Rest that seemed like a hopeful prospect, as it was an open home to those that needed it. With her gil reserves running low with having to stay at the Bokairo in as well as feed and clothe herself appropriately, Primam was resolved to take a ferry to Shirogane to visit the plot for herself after asking for the address from one of the housing representatives found at the Shiokaze Hostelry during one of her deliveries to and from the tavern.

Though she followed the address, Primam was met by a rather... underwhelming exterior that filled her with some kind of worry as she beheld the spectacle before her. It was a house all right... but weeds took over the yard, the ponds had scum over top, and the home just seemed like it was in overall disrepair. She second guessed herself as she looked at the address once more, and then the yard, wondering if the people she overheard about this Wayfarer's Rest meant that the property had just been bought after being abandoned for so long.

[[BEING REWRITTEN BELOW THIS POINT, BEAR WITH ME SKDFJSDF]]

With the new face, and the fact that communication was feasible between the two of them, Primam sought help and confided that she had no idea where she was or how she came to be here. Happy to take Primam in, Des brought her to Shirogane, where she and others apparently had a house where they stayed. A little taken aback by the shoddy appearance and dusty furnishings, Primam decided against looking a gift chocobo through the feathers, and settled upon repaying Des' kindness by cleaning the house and making any necessary repairs whilst borrowing the Company's plethora of books to learn the alphabet and any potential history notes she could. In so doing, she took most to the Eorzean text, as she was more accustomed to it and seemed to be able to better read it with clarity; it almost seemed 1:1 to the text she read back on Eos where she was from.

Once done with the home and seeing that the house seemed to remain empty more days than not, Primam explored a bit outside of Shirogane and within Kugane. While she explored, she met a man by the name of Cynemund Blacke who impressed her with his magical capability. Thanks to him, there was some comfort in knowing that magic existed in this world called 'Hydaelyn'. Running to him with some hint of desperation, Primam hoped that he could help her with getting her back to Eos since he knew how to use magic. Explaining that she was decent with fire, ice, and healing magic in the place where she came from, Primam was regarded sceptically, though Cynemund eventually relented and took her under his wing, teaching her the art of being a Red Mage.

With her induction to being a Red Mage, Primam was brought around Kugane by Cynemund and learned of the customs of the Doman people here and there. While she still has much to learn -- especially regarding the nature of the Kojin and the tribes of the Xaela -- Primam has at least been outfitted with proper attire that helps her blend in... or rather, helps her blend in as much as she can barring her darker complexion and snowy white hair seemingly unusual for Hyur. Nevertheless, Primam has done her best to keep her wits sharp with practise while Cynemund stays on Kugane, and she has run several errands for locals to earn extra gil and even items that helped with the repair of the Wayfarer's Rest.

In time, Primam was then taught to attune herself to the Kugane Aetheryte shards and travel between them thanks to the tutelage of Cynemund. It was around this time that Cynemund decided to pry into Primam's explanation to him about not being from Hydaelyn. He inquired about the world that she was from, and Primam indulged in speaking earnestly to him after keeping quiet and the information close to herself due to not knowing entirely how she would be regarded otherwise. After being told about Eos and her life in more vivid detail, Cynemund finally admitted to being convinced that Primam was not of Hydaelyn.

A couple months passed before Primam was unexpectedly reunited with one of the people she knew back on Eos; Callidus Cicuma. Due to the nature of their circumstance when they were split up and spirited away, Primam had to inquire about the well being of a boy -- Felix -- that they were entrusted to take care of before everything. Though there was no sign of Felix, and Callidus seemed upset about not knowing his location. Primam expressed that she hoped that he was still on Eos, and that since the two of them were together, that meant that there was a possibility that other Glaives and civilians from Eos might have been here as well.

During their time together researching and taking care of one another, Primam resolved to go to Eorzea where more information was readily available for her and Callidus to read rather than relying on the East Aldenard Trading Company to import book orders on their behalf. With the gil that she had saved up, Primam got the two of them some tickets to La Noscea to help transport any other goods and items that they wanted to bring back with them. With a few days in La Noscea, Primam had an easier time navigating and being able to talk to others -- it was here that she was able to secure a job delivering parcels and letters.

With some scouring about, Primam eventually found an ad for a home for sale in the Lavender Beds in the Black Shroud. With a word to the seller, and being able to put in a down payment, Primam secured the house for her and Callidus. Discussing that with the head of post for La Noscea, she was cleared, especially since that would have made things easier on her when she was closer to what was essentially 'HQ'. While the two of them are in Hydaelyn, they now have a place to come back to and do more of their research and studies on potentially getting back to Eos without interruption.

Companions.png

"'Unconditional' -- that's the word I feel you're looking for.

So long as their trust for me is unconditional, then I shall

give them the same respect. It's only fair."

candor.png

A brilliant white lanner whose feathers are seemingly radiant, Primam met this amazing and intelligent creature during her travels to The Sea of Clouds for a time sensitive delivery. It is mostly because of Primam's love for chocobos and having raised them that allowed her to even think of befriending the giant lanner in any fashion. Though some may have chosen to call her foolish for her blind trust in Candor, Primam chooses to believe that so long as she offers unconditional trust and love for Candor, that he will return this. This seems to have worked out in her favour as Candor responds to her calls and swoops down to aid her whenever he hears her whistle.

parvus.png

A cute yet curious creature to Primam, she met Parvus while adventuring through the Black Shroud after getting introduced to the Botanist's Guild. She has never seen something like Parvus back on Eos where she is from, and the fact that he has been nothing but affectionate, and has followed her around has made her heart melt from the sheer adorableness that he exudes.

Over time, Primam has observed Parvus and his eating habits as well as has read up on what these 'lesser pandas' dine on; as a result, Primam has been able to make a good mix of foods for Parvus when she feeds her companions throughout the day. Since warming even more to Primam, Parvus likes crawling up onto Primam's shoulder and staying close.

souffle.png

A present from her mentor, Cynemund Blacke, Souffle and Primam became instant best friends on sight. While Souffle was originally intended to help Primam get around faster, the two of them are usually off in Chocobo Races -- not that either one of them seem to mind. Both Primam and Souffle have a love for the track and competing against other racers that dare make their appearance to the tracks. Unfortunately, some of the officially sanctioned Chocobo Races at some of the venues require that Primam have a registered, specifically bred racing chocobo, which Souffle does not qualify for. Be that as it may, Primam is more than happy to take Souffle out to get his fix on dashing through the fields, beaches, and other such terrain against others.

Relationships.png

"... If all those stories about the Warriors of Light are true... then...

I just hope that you don't end up forgetting me when I have to leave.

Just as I hope I will not forget any of you when I go back to Eos."

Aja Nagano.png

Respected Friends

Despite the rocky meeting of Aja startling Primam with his sudden appearance to the Wayfarer's Rest and her casting a Veraero at him as a result, both Aja and Primam have developed a friendship forged from respect for one another. Where Primam helped to make the Wayfarer's Rest into the cozy attraction it is now, Aja engages in discussion that Primam finds herself agreeable to participating in -- not to mention she sees the strength and effort that he provides for the others that makes her pleased to know that Aja is the founder of the Wayfarer's Covenant that Des spoke about briefly.

callidus cicuma.png

Boyfriend

A man from the same star of Eos, and one of the handful of victims that were engulfed in light before waking up on Hydaelyn much like Primam. These two have known each other for several years. Where Primam studied and trained to eventually become one of the Kingsglaive, Callidus had simply studied. The two of them bore an understanding and friendly terms based off of their desire for greater knowledge. In the past, Primam had never really considered Callidus more than a friend -- especially since she struggled -- and continues to struggle -- with the fact that she had feelings for someone else on Eos before being spirited away.

Upon being reunited on the docks of Kugane, Primam opened her room and everything she owned in the three months that she accrued to Callidus, giving him a place to stay at the Rest. The more that Primam spent with Callidus, however, the more that she found herself enjoying his company. She also has great comfort in the fact that the only one she knows at this current time that could even come to comprehend the emotions regarding her time on Hydaelyn that she keeps hidden from the others is none other than him.

Des Beatha.png

Good Friends

Essentially Primam's best friend since having appeared in Eorzea, Des strikes Primam as a little odd at times, and definitely in need of someone to hold her back from starting too many fights. Thanks to Des being the one to find Primam, Primam's time in Eorzea was incredibly short lived as she was transported to the Wayfarer's Rest in Shirogane. Though a little confused by Des at times, Primam has found herself grateful that she was found by someone that has a big heart and the kindness that she needed. Even if the Wayfarer's Rest was in major disrepair when she was brought there.

Since the fixing of the Rest, Primam and Des have been able to bond over a number of things -- the primary topic being that of cute things and style.

Friends

manaka shimizu.png

Respects

Manaka is an interesting fellow to Primam, if a little hard to get to know. While Pirmam has been at the Wayfarer's Rest, she has taken note of Manaka's appearances and dropping off of items here and there. The two had never really spoken much at the start of everything, especially when the house was in disrepair -- and while the Rest was in a state of needing service, Manaka would only stay for the briefest of times before leaving without saying a word. Once the house was fixed up and in a better state, Manaka actually complimented Primam on her efforts and that is when the two begin to talk more. Once it becomes established that Primam becomes more of a Rest manager, Manaka ran -- and still runs -- many of her new exploits and item gathering to her.

The two have come to mutually respect one another, and perhaps even some bond of friendship has been born between them. Manaka is much more receptive to listening to Primam than some of the others from the look of things, though Primam tends to just simply write this off as perhaps Manaka is actually kind of shy when it comes to other people.
