Describe Your Character's Morning Routine

This is a fun character exercise. All those clothes your character wears, the accessories...the make-up...the hair. Have you given thought to the morning routine of your character? I'd be interested to hear why and how your character dresses, accessorizes, and grooms themselves the way they do! Where did they get their clothes from? Their jewelry? Did they make it themselves? Is there sentimental value to a certain bracelet they wear? Where is your character most likely to awaken? Are they in the wilderness somewhere? In a city? Do they travel with shaping oils for their hair? Just some fun questions to ponder!!

[Lucius Ignatius]

I've actually thought of this a lot, but never really wrote it down!

 

Lucius is well kept,  generally, so he usually bathes/showers and brushes his hair daily--usually waking up in his bed in his apartment in Shirogane. Depending if he's planning on searching for people he might wear his suit of platemail, because usually if he's searching for certain people, it won't end up in just talk. He tries to be prepared to be defensible, so its a 50/50 if he wears casual clothes. Sometimes his casual is more 'formal' than casual, but he has varied wear for different occasions.

 

He has a pendant that he wears from his pureblood garlean birth family (he was sold off to another family for a payment to his birth family after the birth-father died, and recently found, upon his adopted garlean father Decius' dead corpse, the pendant of his birth family whom he found out after meeting Volcatia Volturcius.)

 

Besides that, he likes dodo eggs for breakfast (or fried rice with shrimp/eggs). Maybe some sushi. He enjoys far eastern cuisine a lot, and has taught himself how to prep/cook it. He used to be a chef at the Bismarck, so it came easy.

Leezil "Greenheart" wakes very early, before the crack of dawn. She carefully lifts herself out of her quaint box-bed, limping a few steps until she can find her footing and her leg-braces. There is much to do to prepare for the day ahead! She must first, crucially, retrieve her elixer from the cabinet beside her bed and take her first draught of the day to ease the awkwardness of her lame leg. She stretches it a bit, pacing throughout her Pendants room finishing her chores before the day ahead.

 

Her first order of business is to prepare a quick snack for herself (typically a simple tea with a side of Hortorium-grown nuts) while she tends to the veritable forest of plants she keeps. Since the return of night, caring for them has become more difficult, but her latest alchemical growing formula should help things along--the korpokkur and echevore's picky tastes not withstanding. She washes, grooms, dresses, checks her appointment book and finishes her tea. Checks her pockets that she's got everything, because a trip back would be most unpleasant. Ready for the day, Leezil grimaces at the thought of the long walk and the lingering ache of her leg before she sets off to her work at the Hortorium.
