Info on the one known as "Black" (and other tales of RP profiles)

Recommended Posts

Part 1. Basic Info (of a Basic Nature)

  • Character/s:

◘ Black Goetterdam (last name subject to change slightly; maybe Goettervyrdam?)

◘ Orange Starsong Race: M'iquote (Also may change)

    ◘ Others?

  • Primary character: Black

  • Linkshells: None that I know of

  • Primary RP linkshell: "I tend to get thrown out of the best bars in all the lands and the most hoity-toity of places!"

Part II. RP Style (Substance and Bearing)

  • Amount of RP (light, medium, heavy):

Hmm... Actually, I can be mixed. I can go with Light and probably keep
to Medium, but while I am no stranger to Heavy, I may be out-of-practice
    with it for the moment.

  • Views on RP combat and injuries:

I tend to view wounds as needing attending to as soon as possible,
especially if an arm is cut off. Or...maybe that is not the question? I
guess I can be open to it, but like many things, I will attempt to
co-ordinate with the other party, either in /tells or something else. I
don't like to god-mode others and appreciate the same courtesy. I also
just like to be clear on a person's goals. if any.

  • Views on IC romance:

Yes? I guess. I am not against ERP but I don't see myself doing that
here at the moment. As for just normal romance...I am not sure. I tend
to be a bit of an MMO-wanderer (and sometimes reflect that
in-character), especially if I don't gel with a community (and plus,
gaming in all types is my hobby). I don't want to burden anyone with
someone that may go offline for a length of time. For me, this is a
    catch-22.

  • Views on non-romantic RP (family ties, etc):

I guess I can be for it. I am not positive on my main; I'd have to
consider it. He tends to be a loner, but can be good company. Again, I
don't want to tie anyone down and "wander off" it would depend how
things worked out and some understanding.

  • Views on lore:

I will keep to the most basics of the world in general, although I will
admit to knowing some general info and not so much specifics. Also,
while I do follow this, I tend not to be an RP-Nazi for some player's
concepts, even if I am "meh" on them, unless they totally clash with my
view of the online world. Sheesh, so many caveats!

  • Views on chat functions (/say, /linkshell, etc):

I tend to be a bit "old-fashioned" in my RP. I will use /say and /shout
as IC, but it would be nice to have an ooc outlet, even if it is just
/tells. I do tend to fallback on using "(ooc) to mark when I /say
something that is meant to be ooc. I prefer to see RP, but I won't
chastize folks if people break down after a good laugh and let their
hair down for a bit. Sometimes that's just the general social nature of
    folks.

Part III. Other Info (and Secrets)

  • Country: Generally the United States

  • Timezone: While the Pacific Zone fits, it is not where I am from. I am a night owl, but I do sometimes call an
    early night.

  • Contact info: Not decided as of yet. This forum is good for the moment.

Part IV. Extra Comments (Not too Spicy)

Generally, I haven't RPed in a long time. I am a Legacy guy, but did not

stick around for long. I tend to be private, but I want company. Maybe

I am a guy full of contradictions? In a world that yearns for simple

and pat answers, I am not so simple?

Now...if I could just figure out how to put some spaces between some of those bullet-lists, I'll be "golden".

Update : Well...it looks better now, although in reality, it is pretty darn messy (code-wise) how I did those space indentions!
