RP Newbie, looking for chill people!

Hello everyone, you can call me Blu. I had a fresh start on the Mateus server and now looking for people to talk to! Quick introduction: I am new to RP in FFXIV and am looking for a relaxing start with understanding and nice people, who dont take RP too seriously to the point where they point out every little mistake. I want to learn but also have fun

 

MMORPG Background:

 

FFXIVARR is my first MMO that I started playing on release (I think that was 2014 if I remember correctly) and since then I had a lot of breaks but always came back. My platform was always ps4 but resently I tried it on PC and so far its pretty fun. I honestly feel like a new player sometimes because the controls are just so different that I have to practice with it, no joke. I never played anything on PC, maybe thats why.

 

 

RP Background

 

I did write some RPGs an Animexx, but I think this type of RolePlay is very different from RP in Games. And its also the first time I want to try to play RP in english, which is not my native language. I am pretty much completly new to RP in FFXIV and I still dont know some of the terms ppl use or what different playstyles there are. I tried learning stuff by reading online but honestly I think its best if I just try it and see for myself.

 

 

Character Ideas and Info

 

My Characters Name is Yaroth Astenia (Very untypical name on purpose) and he is a male Miqote. Since my english is not perfect I decided to create a Character that originates far away from eorzea and grew up with a different language so I have an excuse if my sentence is not entirely correct. He is a rather shy Guy who needs some time to warm up but gets lonely easily so if he finds someone that he likes, he is most likely going to stick to that person! 

I dont want to talk too much about him though because I think it is more fun to discover things about the other person while playing.

 

 

How did you learn about the coalition?

 

I just googled here and there and in the end reddit brought me to this site. 

 

 

What kind of a role-player are you aiming to be? (e.g. Light, medium, or heavy)

 

Since I dont really know what is the extend of these RP Types I cant say much. But propably light for now. I want to test this whole thing for myself and cant quite say if I like it. Im hoping to find people that I can RP with carefree and who dont take it toooo seriously and maybe that can just help me in genereal to get into it. 

 

 

Anything from real life you're comfortable with sharing? (Work, school, hobbies, etc.)

 

First of all I am female irl and 23 years old. I just finished my bachelor thesis and am waiting for the results right now. Also in the middle of moving out from home so I only have a reasonable amount of time for RP or playing in general, mostly in the evening. Happy to talk to anyone, even if its not exactly about the RP topic. I am very talkative most of the time
