New to ffxiv and wondering what Chaos server is best for rp and if the eu to na lag is enough to hinder gameplay if I need to go to Balmung.

Most of the EU players I know don't seem to have extreme lag on Balmung. They can still play the game without much issue. Unless you're hardcore raiding, it probably won't cause much issue.

I'm way down South (NZ) and I've rarely had lag on Balmung.
