I attempted a Starbucks Cappuccino cake for my brother's wedding (groom cake)- (shape of a mug with whipped cream swirl atop flat brown tinted icing) but... well I'm ambitious and didn't think it was tall enough to require dowels for support... It looked awesome for a day then.... [align=center]slid.....[/align] down.... LOL. Live and learn. My Starbucks insigina looked awesome though and WAS used on the impromptu cake! later made a cake for my sister's B-day, handmade tulips... turned out much better. (no idea if I still have pix of either... :frustrated: ) Link to comment

These are some of my first cakes when I started out. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Mickey Mouse Clubhouse cake with Toodles smash cake. Made for a friends son's 1st birthday in 2010. this is the first cake I made that was this detailed. the head is made from styrofoam as I wasn't sure how to make it edible and get that size. Owl cake and smash cake made for a friend's daughter's 1st birthday. Little Einsteins. Made for a friends son's 3rd birthday. Peace Cake Angry Birds Made for a friends son. Link to comment
