Apologies for the delay in getting a date announced. The original date we agreed on was taken by another event - we've ended up being focused on other things, ICly, FC story progression wise (which'll add to the event, but I'm giving nothing away) and I've partially been focused on hitting my level 50.

 

Anyway, we've agreed on something we feel is suitable:

 

Date: Saturday 26th October 2013

Time: 11pm GMT 6pm EST

 

Once I've got a time schedule sorted out for the evening's events, I will post it up.

 

As for the times, the reason I've picked the time is because there are some people working weekends, myself included - I can get away with a late night (as I'm EU), but wanted to be able to accommodate. I know EU folk tend to find earlier times easier, but I hope I am not excluding too many people by assuming people get a lay in on a Sunday.

 

What do I need?

 

I've seen some offers for guards. I will need 2 of these guards to get involved with a bit of roleplay, I propose 2 people from Echo Knights if possible - if somebody like Vashies, Shep or William are able to - Rameux will be looking for the finest to be a part of his guard for the evneing, you 3 seem to have some weight in Echo Knights, but nothing wrong with other members volunteering, but for obvious reasons I can't have X'hayu doing it (Saefinn needs to be present :P). We can meet ICly to talk business.

 

I also need some of the girls from Ambrosia, we've got Dhami in our FC (ICly, I've hired Dhami for the event already), other 2 Ambrosia girls I've encountered are Torch and of course Y'vali. We can meet ICly to talk about the arrangements.Other forms of entertainment will of course be appreciated.

 

Bar staff, which I supposed could be handle by Ambrosia and any chefs would be cool. 

 

Guests! It ain't a party without guests. If you can wear a mask and are somebody who can fit into a social event by people of higher society, then dress up and enjoy. Our crew sure will be.

Find me sometime today Saefinn, I will be online all day today so we can meet ICly if you'd like. I haven't heard from Kata in some time, she would be another entertainer for the event. But I have a few more girls as well as a musician if you want that.

Right. I'll be online and I'll talk it over. I've got a plan for the evening's events, various things will start at various times, I will post a schedule once I am 100% happy with the timings, as there's one schedule for guests and one for the crew for how things play out in the event. But guests, be guests. It's a formal do of course. :)

I will do general announcements through the linkshells, I think I'm in all of the Coalition ones.

 

Anyway, I've decided on my outfit.

By all means do, one of the reasons I'm asking for security is because I know everybody ICly isn't necessarily the sort to dress up for a shindig like this or will be able to shoulder with the likes of Rameux Pantont, including some of my own crew members.

 

Anyway, this is the break down:

 

The Masquerade Breakdown

Guests Perspective

 

Note to volunteer guards: You will be expected to just survey the area for any unwanted people, of course, you're welcome to pop in for a drink, to mingle with guests, of course, without upsetting them.

 

6:00pm– The Doors open. Guests will be encouraged into the function room. Drinks will be served

6:30pm – Rameux Pantont will be introduced by Saefinn and Rameux will do an introductory speech

6:40pm – After the speech is made. Rameux and Saefinn alongside some porters will bring the guests to the bar room. Food will be served, such as Miq'kabobs and other delicacies.

7:00pm – Rameux will make his second speech in honour of the meal and thank the hospitality of Limsans.

7:05 – Guards – I will need 2 guards to go with Rameux – these two guards may wish to follow Rameux for the evening until this point. he will fill you in ICly in what you have to do. You will have to guard something of course.

7:20pm - Once people are adequately fed and the ice broken. There will be wine tasting with Saefinn and Rameux. People will be taken out to the Vineyard to discuss wine and taste the ripe grapes. People may choose to continue drinking wine or retire to the function rooms.

8:00pm – Bring out the girls. The function room will be prepared for Ambrosia girls to dance. Where Rameux will happily retire for an evening of Burlesque.

 

The rest of evening will be open for socialising, enjoying drinks and enjoying the dancers. Wayward Star's roleplay should last around until 8:30pm, but of course, it's a party, so it'll end when people have had enough to drink, passed out on the floor or whatever. Saefinn unfortunately will be teetotal, as some people have found out, he can't handle his drink.

The event is today! 6pm EST, 11pm GMT, Wineport. Everything is planned out, Wayward Star are ready, so all it needs is for people to turn up! Guards and guests welcome.

 

Be there or be trapezoid. :)

The Wayward Star side of things is now finished. We left the bar open for people to continue RPing - with how events played out Wayward Star did go their separate ways for some follow up RP to tie off the story arc. ICly it would have been difficult for them to return to the party.

 

But thank you to all those who came along! It was a good turn out and I enjoyed myself, hope everybody else did. I recorded the event, I won't post the whole thing...it was 3 hours long, but I'll edit it for show.

 

Some of it was unplanned, but we adapted to our surroundings, ended up throwing Vashies in the deep end, that was unplanned, but well done for rolling with it. :)

 

Pleased there was minimum trolling.

 

 

Will look forward to future RP.

I'm uploading some videos from the event, I've got over 3 hours of footage and am not posting the lot, but will upload each highlight of the event to play out a story. I've uploaded the appearance of Crycreed first of all because one part of my crew didn't get to see it. Am gradually working on the rest. Of course, watch in 720p :)
