I'm an open book when it comes to RP, one could say i experienced it all in some way or another. Though I do not like Permadeath, I worked hard on my characters, I would really like them to stay alive long enough to enjoy them.

Tau fits nicely into the 'raised by liars, cutthroats and thieves' aspect of the piratical nature of Sea Wolves. There was something that stopped his descent into governor's-daughter-kidnapping and town-sacking, however, and he's sort of adrift. But a Roe born and raised.

Permadeath seems really harsh, unless it was planned waaaay ahead. But I'm totes down for anything. Whatever floats your boat that I in no way intend to steal.

I'm not all that familiar with the game's lore and am not sure where to look really since I haven't found a wiki or anything that goes into detail on the race. I do have a preference towards making my characters feel like a member of the race they belong to even if they don't end up in practicing all their race's cultural standards.

 

My character grew up mostly by herself in the wild, although with help from others. She's not too familiar with how any race works but is most familiar with how fellow roegadyn's work and what their cultural standards are, even if that is not overall much.

No ERP. I will perma kill my characters only if there is a storyline or RP leading up to it. I don't kill my characters off in bar brawls or by random muggers on the street. The same goes for anything that would permanently disable my character.

For the most part Oak is a proud Hellsguard through and through. However, she was raised through half of her childhood by a Sea Wolf, so she's a bit of a mix of both cultures. She knows life on the sea as well as she does life in the mountains, and while she didn't take to the former as well, she still respects it.

If you want to do anything to or with my character that would be significantly life changing or physically or mentally scarring, please discuss it with me OOCly first. I'm not closed off to these things, but I want to make sure both sides are comfortable and on the same page.

Iyrnahct grew up in the far North, before taking to the open sea in his thirties. As a result, his dialect is much stronger then the typical Limsian accent, and he is stubbornly traditional. Very much the 'old school' sea wolf. (( Don't worry if you can't read the accent, it's intentionally thick.))

Yes& No

While Hellsguard she has only translated her name in an effort to make things easier for "The city folk" she still keeps her last name and bears it with pride. He reasons for leaving her home are to help those hurt by the calamity, so while she does adapt to some of the culture of society she still clings to her heritage.

 

Her name has been translated to a flower she likes that is the definition of the two words that comprise her name, as opposed to using the two words (Eg. Datura VS Poison Blossom).

Nykkus was given away (as is Hellsguard custom) for a chance at a better life. However this was done far too early - while still in her infancy. Sold to an affluent Ala Mhigan family who did not care to understand Roe tribal naming customs, she was given a Hyur Highlander first name and Trachspyr as a surname in the Sea Wolf tradition. She was tutored beginning at an early age within the halls of their elite military academies. All knowledge she carries of her people was taught to her by a Hellsguard colonel who took her under his wing.

Asgarn is relatively integrated in to the common lore of the Roegadyn. Apart from his first name, which is technically not a Roegadyn name but Germanic, he's just one charming, tough Roegadyn.

No limits, really. ERP is a sour subject to most, I know, and I don't -usually- partake. As in, I never have but would not be completely closed off to the idea if two characters had history and the story lead to a viable reason. Perma-death is also welcome, once Asgarn's story has come to an end or (gods forbid) I grow bored of him and want to try another concept. I love my RoeRoe too much to be bored. :cry:

 

(NOTE: I am gay in real-life, and whilst it doesn't shine through with Asgarn, so too is he. So on the rare event I would ERP, you get where I'm coming from...)
