Thanks for the support. I'm a little bewildered to hear that I'm always afk, as I was online for no more than two and a half hours over Saturday and Sunday, and I was present the entire time. I did idle a bit when I passed out on Wednesday though, so it might have been then.

 

I edited the wrong message to respond to Katja, but I'll say again not to worry.

 

I did warn ahead of time that I'd be strapped for, uh, time, but I intend to get the majority of this off the ground on Tues and Wed (my days off of work).

 

Keep in mind there are other Vairemonts. I don't have a unique name, haha, but a mix-up is the only explanation I can think of.

I'm interested in this as well, I'd like to toss my dragoon Artorias Rivendare into it.  He is not Ishgardian per se, but he is posing as a Lord of a vassal house to hide his Garlean background.  Besides, I honestly want to get involved with some knightly order for once.  Even if it's made up of exiles and deserters. 

 

I'm mostly on at nights let's say 7pm or so. Feel free to fire an invite my way! Or send me a PM here to set up a specific time.

Just wanted to update everyone!

 

This LS has recently recruited quite a bit of the interested peoples. However, I still see names on this thread that are not on the LS roster. Make sure to send Vairemont PMs on this site if you still have interest. You might also find Vairemont in-game; however, that will not likely be as easy.

 

As another option, anyone is welcome to find me in-game and send me a tell I am in this game almost every day, and I usually play for long periods. My one and only character is Kiht Jakkya <3 I am in the PST US time zone. I am not an officer, so I can't invite anyone, but I will tell Vairemont about people who send me tells, and assist in arranging a meeting if I can.

 

Keep in mind that this is an IC LS, so for now, the only way to get an invite is to ICly meet with Vairemont.

After ICly learning about you (somehow) after I find you in-game, it would be a simple matter of ICly telling Vairemont. We'll work out the details then get you in.

Anyway! Learning about him as a -person- or professional (bounty hunter) etc wouldn't be too hard. Though knowing he was an Ishgardian isn't something really advertised though he's not really trying to hide it much either. I mean he doesn't really disguise his accent (if there is one) or at least a proper and 'noble' way of speaking. He'll make references to the North or his Northern upbringing. Feel free to scour the rumor mill a bit of course! The tattoo on his face would be a bigger giveaway to someone who was familiar with knightly orders and such in Ishgard, hence him fleeing to Thanalan after the 'incident'.

 

But yeah, we could make it work one way or the other pretty easily!

Knight Kat ~ I've been trying to remember to search for you >w< but I think we keep missing each other. I had moved my computer to the living room and had to adjust to that. Just recently been really active in game wise. 

 

Though I'm glad to hear I haven't missed anything too drastic ^^ my character sorta has been dealing with her own issues anyway. Probably things you'll find out about if you manage to track her down and get her to talk. She's not very open about where she use to hail from for obvious reasons (one of her pets being a good reason ... ~coughs~ her sibling being another).

I'm not sure about the course of the plot thus far, Jeantremont. That would definitely be a question for Vairemont or Knight Kat =P Though I could imagine either or all three would be welcome as any Ishgardian would likely be of use at some point or another 8-)

My new main, Nildrohain Beauchene is an Ishgardian expatriate. She's a Midlander Hyur who was raised by a couple of Elezen commoners. I'm still fleshing her out and working on her wiki. I'd love to have her meet up with other Ishgardians at some point!

I figured there is at least SOME roe's in the Ishgardian community even if it's hyur/elezen dominant. For all we know, they can be a minority. Maybe Siren can be part hyur or something, lol

Actually there is a Roegadyn in Costa del Sol that mentions that his family served a High House of Ishgard so there must be Roes there somewhere.

Haha, another expatriate. My Ishgardian is still in Coerthas and looks to be only one of two who are there still.

Wizard ~ You may be.. I know my character stays clear of the area. She was already nearly caught in the area with her.. um.. companion/pet when she was seeking out her elder sibling upon hearing rumors he lived still. 

 

Plus she's been away from home for about 10 or so years I think (maybe a few more I'd have to redo the math to check it). Little point in returning home after that many years ^^;

My Ishgardian character (wiki is a huge work in progress still, he is an alt after all), he's just 18 years old; the second son of a middle-high class family that used to be rather influent among the merchants of Ishgard prior the Calamity. The disappearance of his older brother (who first disrespected their father's wish by becoming an adventurer and leaving home, and then disappeared forever during Cartenau without leaving a trace) has burdened Vincent with the difficult task of becoming the head of the family as their father passed away. The Calamity forced Vincent to abandon his studies to become a dignitary and since then he has been studying as a conjurer to aid the refugees of Coerthas and Gridania.
