I am new to FF14, though not to the franchise, my name is VI(you can pronounce it sixx or vee it's really up to you) and I just turned 26 yesterday. 

 

I played around on a random server all day yesterday, just getting a feel for the game, but I knew I wanted to dive into the RP realms. So after doing some research I chose Balmund, I would love to have my OC, also Vaal Redwind, to be able to interact with both new story characters as well as 'the legacies' whom existed prior to the destruction.

 

I am just now beginning at level one once more, so if anyone notices the black-tino, short white haired, red and white mismatched eye Paladin to be roaming, feel free to stop and say "Hi," he's a sullen nine-tween year old, outgoing, but with some definite "baggage".

 

The community looks to be set up very nicely and I just can't wait to interact with some of you, well thank you for reading my gushing newbie intro and see you all in Eorzea.

 Lol, thats a very elegant way to describe what mos tadults deem moody teen-ism, but Vaal is a boy, a very Cptn. Harkness/Whuvian boy, but a boy nonetheless and I am sure loads of 'snarking' will ensue and I would love to interact with as many people as possible, including you too Mage. 

 

Now that I have the hang of the story I will smash through the early stages of leveling and be well on to playing with everyone. Just look for Vaal Redwind.

Hi VI! Love the name and very cool looking character. I'm in the same boat as you, new to Balmung and focused mainly on training up. If you see me around and we're at similar levels, don't hesitate to hit me up for a party. A little IC questing would be a good change of pace from the typical solo grind.
