Have you ever dreamed of FFXIV?

I don't know about you guys, but sometimes the game doesn't leave me when I go to bed because I end up dreaming about it. I once managed to wake myself up because I was dreaming about missing the weekly cap before the weekly reset, got up to do it and then went back to bed again

I have also had dreams about roleplay related stuff, though that almost always tends to go blurry so I only really remember that some peoples characters were involved. 

 

So, yous had any dreams involving XIV in some way?

Once, when the servers were down for bigpatchday, I took a nap and dreamed I was playing new content.

 

Then I woke up and saw that there were still 15 hours to go.

 

Manly tears were had.

I did recently but it got weird.

 

this time I was one of my chars and I went to jail cause I beat up a sultansworn, but instead the jail was like dead man wonder land, I got stuck in some school room writing "I'm not a love machine" Over and over. and then I was on a prisoner transport and we were riding on the top of a high riding wagon and this andaconda sprung itself all the way up and ripped this guy out, and the next thing I know the wagon is being blindsighted by a T Rex with a red headed ponytail.

I have had nightmares about not being able to hold aggro in dungeons.

I did actually have one recently. I dreamt I really as a Sultansworn. All I did was follow Nanamo around as she talked with Raubahn. It was quite boring, yet felt so cool to actually be there.

Oh gods, yes.

 

On average, my job takes me up to a total of an hour a day. The rest of the day, I have to do my best to entertain myself in the 7x6 square foot space I live and work in. Which means, I play the game a lot... and I fall asleep while playing fairly often. Especially when gathering, crafting, and burning FATE parties. And I'm also one of those people who's dreams are are very easily influenced by what's going on around them while they're sleeping (alarm clock dreams are the WORST).

 

Crafting dreams: Everything fails and/or breaks. EVERYTHING. Even Careful Synthesis fails.

 

Gathering dreams: I find weird stuff. I mined up a house once. Also, I dream this one in first-person, so it's "me" running around and swinging a pickaxe or hatchet.

 

FATE dreams: Nothing really special, running around and trying to kill critters. Also done in first-person.

Funnily enough, I had a dream about FFXIV the night before. In my dream, I had a goblet house but forgot I owned it, then was negotiating with someone to buy their lavender beds house, which was on a little island surrounded by the sea with tons of trees and beautiful foliage. It was like a three story house too (but not a mansion). Then I realized that I'd have to relinquish my goblet house to buy the lavender beds one, so I tried to get to the housing NPC to do so, but was forced to go through a maze-like map filled with high level mobs that I just couldn't sneak past and I kept dying. I finally made it after a while only to find out that I only had 3 mil and not 5 mil to purchase the lavender beds house. So I scrimped and begged all my friends to lend me money then ended up buying the lavender beds house.

 

After this adventure-filled dream, I woke up with an intense desire to buy a lavender beds house. Lavender beds was the housing area I liked the least too LOL, because I always get lost there. (But otherwise, I've had game-related or FFXIV related dreams quite a few times)

....I dreamt about killing Coatleque, Natalie, Roen, Nyalie, Erik and Koporo - and Leanne and Nero were right next to me watching. We were arguing about something, and I was Anelia actually snapping and killed the entire Sultansworn league.

 

This was like a week before when Natalie ICly died.

I've now started to have dreams about T9.

 

Such... wonderful... dreams.

 

I legit woke up during the weekend with a panicked thought because it was like... Someone from my FC texted me going "We need a tank for T9. Your PLD is geared. We are GTG with you!"

 

All I could think of was "omg no I can't guarantee clears of t9 if I tank omg no I know my people need me but omg noooo"

I think I did last night. Normally it's just logging on, doing PvE or working on crafting. Jen and I had that a lot with Smite, too. Kept dreaming we were working on our Gods, etc. :sleepy:
