Hello RPC,

 

I honestly was not planning on making a thread to announce my permanent leave but I also thought it was foolish not to.

 

So, for those of you who know what I do for a living, I shall be leaving due to RL circumstances. One of the things I... tend to do before "leaving" for work is that I always "lock up" the things I have created, wrote, typed, played - anything at all - with me when I leave. These things include RPing in MMOs or even fan base community forums for example.

 

So thus, this is my final goodbye to the players and their characters of FFXIV. It has been an interesting adventure.

 

As for the Vale Brothers?

Well, Marcus and Xydane would have fallen when the Dravanian Horde invaded Ishgard. Behind the story of the the Vale Brothers, Ishgard had given them a last purpose in life when the rest of the world had rejected them.

 

Simply put, Ishgard had given them the will to fight for there is no greater feat than to slay than a dragon. It was their calling. To defend. Marcus "The Unceasing" Vale and Xydane "The Unrelenting" Vale would have slain many of the scaled beasts before falling.

 

They would have stood their ground and fought to their last dying breath.

In any case, I wish you the best of lucks. I enjoyed the scenes I played with Xydane, it's sad to know he already met his end. Clover will keep remembering him, and from time to time she'll wonder where he might be.
