IC Description: As it has always been said: “When the horns of the Huntsmen sound, the blood of beasts flow.” In the past, the Huntsmen were an elite group of monster hunters that, starting from a young age, took the mark of the Huntsmen and dedicated their lives to taking on the biggest and most challenging beasts that others could not handle. Not for glory, not for fame, but simply because of the coin and joy of the challenge. With each successful mission, a Huntsman grows stronger… sometimes too strong. With power comes ego and this ended up being the downfall of the Huntsmen. A select few decided to turn against their own and nearly destroyed all they had built. It was a war that took many lives of those that could not protect or save themselves and those remaining Huntsmen have decided to atone for the mistakes of their brethren in different ways. Currently, the few remaining Huntsmen are scattered across Eorzea and Doma. Some have settled down and had families while others are looking to rebuild their ranks. In Kugane, one Huntsman has decided to forego rebuilding ranks and has decided to open The Huntsman’s Lounge, a bar and hookah lounge based out of Shirogane. The Lounge is a popular hangout for those that walk on the darker side of life while it is also often frequented by those just passing though looking for a hot meal and a place to rest before they continue on their journey. The Lodge is kept completely neutral so any are welcome to step through its doors and all who enter are expected to abide by that rule. Though this Huntsman now runs a bar, he is not above taking work for himself or his comrades. If one is in need of a Huntsman’s skill, be it hunting man or beast, all they need to do is enter the bar and order the Huntsman’s Special. OOC Description: We welcome any and all, new and experienced RPers and players alike! With some folks in the FC clearing O8S and others still leveling through ARR, we have people of all experience ranges and we thoroughly enjoy helping anyone that needs it. We have crafters and gatherers and help out whenever there is a need. We alternate events within the FC so that those that wish to RP are engaged as well as those that lean more towards the PvE side of things. While we have FC hosted events, bar nights, FC story, we make sure the focus is on our members and their characters. You don’t have to be a combat RPer to join! We are also looking for those to help run the lounge and public FC events! We are small now but hoping to grow! Discarnate <Disc> is an age 21+ FC that seeks to immerse our members in the atmosphere of an occult-themed underworld environment. We want characters who can be villains and dark heroes—oppressor and oppressed. To the public, it is an inn with occult decor that attracts adventurers and scholars to study the many arcane and other curious items it collects. A second layer is much known to the underworld, specializing in its black market for arcane findings and other illicit goods that can fetch a lofty price. It links buyers to sellers, obtains items of arcane power, and holds mysterious auctions within the labyrinths of its lair. What lays beyond the Veil, deeper in its shadows, is something the organization guards at all costs, spilling blood if necessary.

Genisys is a popular event FC throwing server wide nightclub events on a monthly basis right here on Mateus! We are now affiliated with the HI community working together to bring engaging events for not only people on Mateus, but the FFXIV community as well. We have 24/7 buffs. Active discord. Serialized RP story in episodic format– every Friday. Map runs. HoH. PVP/PVE. Normal Raids on Tuesdays. Smaller RP events. And of course, the casual random chill sessions that may involve the following: Discord Banter, Sass talk and Ice Coffee! We are a Mixed-RP Event FC. We have Role Players as well as Non-Role Players. Our Monthly nightclub event is Mixed-RP, as it is open to the community. We have a serialized open world adventure RP story designed into episodes and categorized by seasons. We host this every Friday with a fairly large group between 8-14 players. Our group style draws inspiration from D&D to tell the story and DM writes the episodes after every RP session. <Curio> is a casual RP company with frequent RP events and FC plots involving our amazing Shop of Wonders in the Lavender Beds.

"The Silver Eagles" was formed by Kiyoh Nhodi on Guild Wars on Feburary 13th, 2006. She has been the community's leader since it was formed (She was only fourteen!). Since then we have moved to Guild Wars 2 (As well as Runescape as "UniStar", Elder Scrolls Online and Black Desert Online as "The Silver Eagles" and also have various players on other games and on console gaming). We are a friendly community made up of friends and people that just want to enjoy the game and have a good time playing. Some of the things we do are PvE, PvP, and RP, hanging out and talking, helping other players, well you get the idea. We do pretty much everything. In the past we have even done things to raise money for the Make-A-Wish Foundation through livestreaming events on Twitch and real-prize raffles (Time cards for games, keys for games, etc). This is something the community leader is extremely proud of. We are pretty laid back. As was mentioned earlier, we're just a group of players trying to have fun that welcomes all active players. However, we might make some exceptions if we have had problems with someone in the past as we don't like having people around that only wish to cause problems and stir up drama. We also have Steam and Facebook groups as well an a Discord server open to others to join.

“West Koshu Trading Company” <<KOSHU>> is a small, close knit FC focused on Heavy Roleplay that has existed for 2 years running! We are a Hingan & Lominsan crime syndicate (yakuza-inspired) with a strong focus on trade & privateering. We primarily involve ourselves in criminal trade activities in luxury salts, minerals, herb, art, & other lucrative goods, sokaiya (business extortion), tax evasion, racketeering, etc. Our business front; Uranami Onsen prides itself on being a professional and traditional onsen while also providing a relaxed environment for our company members and clients. We also provide general Wellness in the form of shiatsu, acupuncture, divinity, healing, mental-clarity and other forms of body & mind wellness. OOC: We all understand we are busy adults, often working long hours; so we ask that folks be understanding of this aspect as well. We have a no-tolerance for OOC drama and Metagaming/Godmoding/etc. We host 1 weekly social event, 1 weekly internal-DMed Event & 2 community events per. month for the greater Crystal datacenter.

Nestled atop a hill in the Mist residential zone is The Dragon's Den tavern. Crossed weapons adorn the sign over the gate and entrance, a signal of the nature of the tavern's clientele; rugged men and women who live by the sword and seek their fortunes through adventure. The Dragon's Den draws adventurers, seamen, mercenaries, and soldiers who seek a place to relax and maybe swap a few stories of adventure. Mixed in with the soldiers and adventurers one can find those who dwell on the edges of polite society, rogues and con men, gamblers and thieves. Hidden rooms and secret passages to the waterways beneath the residential area are to be found at the tavern, but only by those who know the code to slip past the ones who guard the doors.

The Dawn Collective is a group made up of adventurers, engineers, researchers and scholars, all with a common goal, to secure the next dawn. We are a light hearted RP community whos focus is the safety and betterment of Eorzea. We fund ourselves by doing adventuring work and the occasional job for one of the grand companies. We ask little of our members, just that they too work towards a better tomorrow, be it by helping a kitten down from a tree, or working on a cure for the latest viral disease plaguing the land. We are still very new, so if you want to be involved with us in the early stages don't hesitate to get in touch!

The Sultana's gambit is a high-class massage parlor, tea house, and hookah salon, in the goblet. Although the establishment is fairly new, there are a few rumors about it, one of them being that it may be run in connection with several criminal networks, it's difficult to confirm or deny such rumors, as the motto of the house is: "Nothing is more dangerous than a friend without discretion; even a prudent enemy is preferable." We are looking for: - 2 masseuses (No ERP policy) - 3 security staff members - 1 host - 1 bard

Silver Dawn is a project created by a lower noble House in Ishgard with the intent of accompanying the ever-changing times!
