Hey all I just re-subscribed having played quite a lot on Balmung in the past - however as I'm getting into the game together with my significant other and there's not really a way for her to get into that world, we decided to try Omega which is closer to home too, as we're from Europe. Trouble is, I don't know anyone on Omega and I have absolutely no idea where to find rp! So far I can't quite see any :( Any friendly souls out there that could help me get settled into this scene? Know something about your competition/rivals/enemies that could earn you money and harm them while at the same time benefit someone else? Mr Tate is the person you want. Got your hands on some 'hot' merchandise, don't know where to go with it? Mr Tate can find the right people for you, or take it off your hands for a decent handful of coin and move the goods himself. Need someone taken care of? He sure knows the right man for the job. A true go-to man for all your illegitimate needs. The character has been described in another post but I'll paste that description here to make things simpler. Daniel Tate is an opportunistic bottom feeder of the Ul'dah underworld. Greedy and largely selfish, he doesn't have what it takes to break through to the top, so instead he scrapes by as a small scale information broker, translator, fence, conman, middleman, pusher and errand runner. Whatever he can make Gil on, he's a self proclaimed jack of all trades. He tries his best to know all the important people and, with some luck, make some Gil off their business. It's a bit misleading, since the article says it'll be locked on 20th, but says nothing about it being locked right now.

So until 20th June you can still transfer onto high pops? A few friends of mine may want onto Balmung, if it's still a possibility, but I wouldn't make them buy the game only to find out transfers are closed.

Views on RP combat and injuries: I prefer realistic emote combat free of drama, arguments and godmodding. Light use of dice to introduce a random factor, if all involved parties desire so. Hi people! So! I'm new to this place, new to Final Fantasy (though I did play X-2 many, many years ago, I can hardly remember anything more than Yuna's pretty face!). No idea where to do, what to do, but with 14 year long roleplay career I'm more than willing to try! What could go wrong? My thaumaturge is freshly transferred to Balmung, so I'm hoping to make contacts, make friends, and ease myself into the whole community. Figured I'll learn lore along the way.
