Sounds fun! Let's start with something simple (I think) I don't have access to beta so no pics... but think Miqo'te Pugilist with Claw weapons (they have those right? it's kind of an iconic brawler weapon in FF). Give her the pigtail-ish hair and a FF7 Tifa fighting stance and it would be awesome! Not picky on clothes since I don't even know what there is in the game. I guess make her sexy without being sexualized? Sorry if that's too vague! Bonus points for an avatar size version (which may or may not be the one version?)

Awesome solution! Mind you, I don't know of any MMO where 20-30 seconds isn't usually fatal unless you're fighting a mob significantly lower level than you.

Hehe nice. I'm all for active input and active combat, though. AFKing and combat never mixed well. ^^;

I thought it was about in-game Languages too, but no, it's about RL languages and different translations of the game. I don't think there is anything so far about In-game languages and expect everyone speaks the same "Eorzean" or whatever they'd call it.

Exactly! I think that everyone use the names they are getting in their language version of the game (if they like them!) and if there's misunderstandings about it, ask IC. Ex: "I'm a Goldpaw" "A what?" "Oh right, we're usually called Seekers of the Sun, we call ourselves Goldpaws in my tribe" One name is the name usually given to those people, and the other is the name they took for themselves locally. If anything, it adds to the RP.
