Aziraya

There would be two ways to win my character's boss fight. One is a kind of shortcut/Easter egg, the other is the general fighting and killing way.

My only gripe with Keeper Miqos using non-dusky skin tones and non black hair color is that I don't know whether to go all "MOON BUDDY!!" when I meet them IC.

I would very much stay away from anything taking aether from the environment. I may be wrong but isn't that like... reason #1 why Black Mages are outlawed? Make it take the aether from you and transform it, sure, but I would steer clear of taking from the general area.

Aziraya has many pleasures, but none of them guilty. He considers pleasure in almost all of its forms, and the search for such, as simply part of life and is nothing to be ashamed of. There's one thing though that he tends to keep to himself mainly due to the fact that I believe it's illegal in game: a drug called Dream Ink. He's not really ashamed of it... just doesn't want to get in trouble with it. Gambling? Promiscuity? Alcohol? These are not things to shy away from if it's what you enjoy, as long as you don't ruin yourself with them. However, Aziraya really doesn't go for the things listed above except in moderation. He's more of a seeker of the simpler pleasures such as a comfortable place to sit/sleep, stimulating conversation with an attractive other, the taste and warmth of a good spiced red wine as he relaxes, the feeling of a hot bath after a long day, a nice breeze on a warm summer night... These are where he finds his true pleasure.

PROTAGONIST (ENFJ-A) Not sure how well this really fits. Although the overall skill stuff is true... Aziraya is NOT a paragon of goodness by any means. He's actually somewhat lazy and lethargic, having been called a hedonist. But let's go over some quotes that seem to fit him.

Aziraya would probably be red, for several reasons. The fact that the red lantern rings tend to corrupt the user's body/blood fits well with him. I roleplay Aziraya as lethargic and overall lazy, using the idea that his Warrior's rage dumps an absolute overdose of endorphins and adrenaline into his body. Over time of fighting like this, his body just can't muster very much energy/strength unless he's consciously flooding his system with these. Since this is how he fights, he essentially has near-constant control of the portions of his endocrine system that relates to energy. He actively makes his body store it for later release... meaning his body doesn't really get it in normal amounts during regular activity. The issue with being a red ring though is that the red ring is supposed to be uncontrolled, unbridled rage. Aziraya has a bit too much control over it to really fit well. He was recently described as a hedonist, which isn't too far from the truth, so maybe orange? The problem with this though is that he isn't a hedonist in the "hoard all of the women, all of the wealth, all of the power" kind of way. He just... really appreciates the simple pleasures in life like a comfortable bed, looking at something visually appealing (whether it's a painting, a woman, or a large aethryte crystal), the taste of a good spiced wine as he relaxes, the soft feeling of a luxurious rug under his feet, a warm bath after a long day, etc. If he doesn't try to hoard it, it doesn't really fit with orange. I guess he just doesn't feel strongly enough to truly be a wielder of a ring.

Hmm, sounds interesting. I've just returned and am looking for some RP people, so this seems pretty good. Sign me up and keep me updated on when the first time is decided, please!
