  1. Cypress's hands dig into Thal, the dead flesh melting as she pulled on her aether channeling into flame even as she felt his weight push on her shoulders. The powerful kick to her stomach did send her down onto buckled knee, arms forcibly parting from around the miqo'te.
  2. Ashes fell from the under side of Cypress's jaw, as if it were a burning log being hit instead skin and bone. Red and orange embers were exposed, burning the very hand that had hit it should it not be fast enough in its release. Her arms came to encircle the man who was far less than the picture of health. Fabric would be the first thing to go a-flame.
  3. Smoke exhaled from Cypress's mouth as the wind was knocked out of her, the miqo'te having barrelled into her, shoulder first into her ribcage. Her back leg took her weight and kept her from falling over, but her head was bowed as she tried to catch her breath. A burning heat rose from her skin, the fissures along her skin nearly volcanic in their nature. Her long arm sought out the undead's body, to keep him in place.
  4. "If this is how you will it, Thal..." Cypress steps forward, the foot left behind shifting so that it was perpendicular to its twin. The roegadyn did not hesitate now to send the mass of fire that she had formed in the direction of his voice. There was only so much that one could accomplish by incessant chatter. And there was no wrong in ending what should never have come back.
  5. "I have met him before. But I do not mind ending what should not have come back in the first place." Cypress began to manipulate the flames that licked around her hands into a ball.
  6. "We do not need to look for them any longer. Leave the Necromancer and you may go on your way dead man. You are harmless enough," said Cypress, trying to be perfectly reasonable.
  7. "This trio matches what we were told in Drybone, Ulanan. Dead Miqo'te who still walk are not often found, except around that girl. And I smell death. I do not need to see to know." Cypress answered, "There is no such thing as a coincidence, your patron should tell you as mine does."
  8. Cypress's head briefly followed Ulanan's voice as it trailed behind her. She should have felt suffocated in this terrible desert with the heat rising within her, but this particular sort was almost comforting. Certainly far more familiar, flame formed at her hands, "Do you not know what this girl has done? I do not know how anyone may defend her."
  9. "Amal'jaa are not our concern. The girl is. I will not pay for your uncertainty and hesitance again Ulanan," the exposed skin along Cypress' arms began to crack as they did when her aether began to draw to the surface out of emotion or intent. It mattered not which right now, for it was probably a bit of both.
  10. "That kid...?" Cypress drew out the short words in a dry manner, "That child has wrought so much destruction. This pleading is nothing more than a mask." Her head turned down towards Ulanan, "You have learned that lesson already, have you not?"
  11. "We cannot kill that which is already dead," Cypress stated, "Violence and death will always follow that Voidsent Necromancer."
  12. Cypress stared out emptily in their general direction, "I recognized your description from Gridania. I let you go then, but now you harbor and care for that which I have followed all this long way."
  13. Cypress's head turns up towards the voice, "For information. We are looking for a couple of persons. We were told they were headed to this tribe that my companion speaks of..."
  14. A gentle breeze rode across the sands, a welcome thing it was in this heat. But it brought with it traces of unpleasant scents, though what they were was not easy to define in the acidic dryness of the air. Cypress stayed next to Ulanan, towering over the tiny lalafel as she tried to isolate the exact smells that seemed to come from the group that they had apparently met. She leaned down to quietly speak to the other woman, "There is something not right in the breeze that they bring with them."
  15. They had traveled for quite away, quiet save for the occasional traded snipe. The blazing heat was constant, everywhere, with no escape but for the cool night when the sun rested. It was such that Cypress was able to tell the approximate passage of time by the temperature. A red hand curled around the staff that Ulanan found for her, though it was nothing more than a glorified walking stick. It was useful, dried splintery wood though it was, it allowed some measure with which to test the ground before her. A measure of stability when she stumbled on some unseen stone.
  16. Thanks again! I love the Cypress and Illira dolls
  17. Herp derp. I could've sworn that they were seperate accounts. My memory is bad though... Sorry about that!
  18. The wiki login isn't connected to the RPC's. So you'll have to register your name separately on it.
  19. That's... That's not Parmesan cheese. That powdered crap is like... I don't even know what it is, but it ain't Parmigiano-Reggiano. I like you! And yes, if that's your only experience with "parmesan" cheese, you owe it to yourself to go buy a chunk of the real thing. Yum yum yum yum yum yum yum yum yum. Totally agreed that real parm is completely different and way better, if it had been real parm the mixup could never have happened I'm not really a cheese fan but I do so enjoy good hard cheeses. I should probably further explain that this incident happened at a 24 hour dinner that served everything at all hours. My friend had ordered spaghetti and I ordered pancakes. It was very late and for some reason I thought the container held powdered sugar, a sprinkling of which sounded hood. Unfortunately... It was powdered parm cheese instead.
  20. I'm being reminded now of when I once covered pancakes with parmesan cheese by accident... I'd thought it was powdered sugar and kept putting more on because I was so confused by why it didn't look right. You have my sympathies Sounsyy. Chocolate and lox are not meant to go together.
