  2. Either way, keep up the great work. I love your interpretation of the 'bad ass' lalafell.
  3. I could see that character feeling right at home with the Slaughterhouse Dogs
  4. Simply fantastic. I am soooo in love with your work.
  5. I'm sure the city that is a 'Jeuno' version will have a good place for RP congregation.
  6. Updates (26AUG10) Added the latest info from the Town Square (30AUG10) Added some character profiles (08SEP10) Added the latest info from the Town Square
  7. :approve: Seal of Approval :approve:
  8. On the PvP matter, from all the interviews I've read, I feel like the PvP is going to be implemented at the same pace as it was in FFXI and be just as restricted as it was in XI.
  9. "The Elezen are a traditionally nomadic people who in former times claimed sole dominion over Eorzea, their presence predating that of the other races. Believe this prominence to be ordained by the gods, they came to develop an esteemed sense of honor and pride. Their characteristically tall, slim physiques and elongated limbs are part of a successful adaptation to the land's various environments. Indeed, it is said that their highly sensitive ears can discern the squeak of a field mouse at a distance of up to several malms. The Elezen perceived the immigration of the Hyur as tantamount to invasion, and as a result the two share a past plagued by warfare. At present, however, they can be seen coexisting peacefully, the exception being the reclusive Duskwight Elezen." This is from the official FFXIV website where Elezens are described. I bolded the word 'malms'
  10. It's a style of art that I'm not used to seeing in conjuction with FF related stuff. For that, I am thankful. I'm always happy to see unique creativity surface.
  11. If my lore knowledge of Square serves correctly, those measurements are just another Square staple, such as the chocobo, moogle, etc. It's just one of those things that are all part of the same SE universe. I'll dig around and see if I can come up with some examples when I have time.
  12. EDIT: Added a link to a created 'server status' page
  13. Move Torn and splintered, shattering my mindâs eye Such as broken glass in a torrent of rain While all truths are stripped bare, leaving only the lie Alone and naked, I suffer in soundless shame Do I have the strength? Do I have the will? Inside it is unclear, my heart feels unsure One curious flicker, one silent whisper A hope, a prayer, or perchance a bit more An opportunity in the splendor of the moment On the precipice, do I have the courage? A profound breath, a final courtesy Can you not hear? Can you not see? The beginning is now, tomorrow is yesterday Intentions are founded, never shall I give way Here I come, my body overwrought Stirring onward with everything forgot
  14. I RP more than I EXP anyway. As long as I don't hit 'surplus creativity' with my character, I'll be fine and dandy, kekekekeke
  15. I never follow the twelve hour clock. I go by the 24hr clock (normal time). You'll never hear the words 'p.m.' or 'a.m.' from me.
  16. Now, if we could only discover the Macro Frog......a frog the size of people.
  17. Yes, that is correct. Also, a Fulm is a foot
  18. Those NMs look pretty intense, I wonder what they drop. "Impossible to gauge"
  19. It's brown. I have an older picture that shows the trim outside of the house to give you a better idea.
  20. Thats just another reason why I love FF6 so much. The lead is a woman, so the whole 'feminine' aspect actually works for the lead on that one. On another note, I officially have three fav. artists in the RPC, and you are one of them, that's for damn sure. I'd love to see a team of artists in the RPC get together and make a webcomic based on the roleplayers of FFXIV (something that could work in conjunction with the Eorzea 'Tribune' ((on whatever it ends up being called)) Whatever the case, in the future, I'm sure I'll commission some of you fine ladies to do some Brin artwork.
  21. Holy Smokes!!!! That is incredible! I am amazed with the talent of the artists here. If those were actual paintings at an art exhibit, I would buy it for sure and hang it up on my wall.
  22. house owners unite! *high fives* Just painted the trim around my house recently.
