I'd say roll a character on both, spend a few levels on them and make friends! I'm a FemRoe on Gilga, but I recently put a FemEle alt on Balmung to pester people on there. I'm always happy to see more Roegadyn joining the RP band! Please just go where you have the most fun, I assure you either choice will be a good one! We're always looking for more pals on Gilga, with us always looking to plan new events to try out and generally have a fun time!

I gave this a shot, here's what I got. Male Highlander. 0% height... Yeesh... gonna be looking short and stout, I suppose. Any hair color with blonde highlights. He's Polytheistic, mainly believing in Halone. Single DoW class. (Uh... still thinking on what he'll be.) Acquaintances with Purple's Keeper. Rolled an 8, so he's Loyal, Resourceful, and Observant. I'm assuming now I don't roll any further till there are other people taking part? But I can make suggestions for how they all meet? One last question, does the next person to create a character have to roll Relationship status for Everyone that went before them or just the One person directly before them?

Goodness this sounds like a good deal of fun. I'm sure the riders will have the most enjoyment out of it. I almost want to roll an alt on Balmung just to grind to my Chocobo and enter as well.

I would like a clarification on this as well. As it stands 5pm PST would be 8pm EST, which is usually when all the other events have happened, so I'm curious if it was just entered wrong or not?

I know you get the Black swimsuit for subscribing for at least 60 days. Which can be redeemed at Mor Dhorna. That said, the hempen undies do work well enough in some cases.

Put your skills on the line to see who is the best angler in all of Eorzea! Not a fishermen? Not a problem! Come out and cheer on your favorite angler, meet with other fans, enjoy a peaceful atmosphere and fish-fry on the gorgeous beach. All are encouraged to come out and join in the festivities! Goal of the Event: This fishing contest is taking place at Mist as a means of getting people to use Mist (and by extension, the other residential areas) more often in their RP Events, as well as a means for the community to gather up for some fun games and relaxation. Contest Rules: 1. Contestants will be given 15 minutes to catch the biggest fish they can manage. 2. No restriction on bait and tackle. 3. A full screenshot must be taken of the fish’s size to verify its legitimacy. Time stamps must be enabled in chat settings. 4. Fish must be caught in Mist, during the event. Contest Brackets: To ensure that all participants have a fair chance of winning, there will be brackets divided by levels to keep level 10 hobbyists from going against the level 50 master fishermen. Each level bracket will start at their own times, starting with the first lowest to the highest. The following bracket will be run after the previous bracket finishes. Times will be announced on the forum before the event. As it stands there will be five brackets ranging from: Level 1-10 | 11-20 | 21-30 | 31-40 | 41-50 (Please note, that some brackets may be consolidated into others should the number of participants in said bracket be considered insufficient. Any changes will be noted on the forum before the event.) Prize Possibilities: Prizes will consist of housing decorations crafted by the Bough’s best craftsmen. Only the bracket winner will be eligible for a prize. Unclaimed prizes will be given to the runner-up. Signing up: Registration for the event can be done here on the forums or IC in the game. In terms of IC, the event is advertised as a contest and fish-fry. Those looking to sign up IC can claim posters spread out over Limsa detailing the contest.
