All I can think about are the race parallels between XIV and XI. If anything I think that is the safe bet in looking for the average life span for the current races but taken with skepticism being a different game world.

As thing stand I say keep the forums together. It provides for good an interesting reading when you stumble into other threads even if they are not your server. Besides adding the [tag] for the really server specific rp threads is easy enough when opening a new thread.

It has to do more with the games reality (outside of rp). Also lot's of MMO's have this enhanced internal game time for day/night cycles and weather in the case of ARR. Additionally, In the sense of zone scale the internal game time fits sorta with Forgotten Springs being maybe 2-3 days away. Like I said depends on how IG time is treated and goes back to another thread where someone was asking how weather is treated. Since it can change multiple times during a rp in one zone along with the day/night cycles. Random thought but is there a game that mimics a full 24 hour day/night cycle?

Depends on how people treat ingame time itself? Where one day on the game clock is about 70 minutes. Then on the other side a good RP conversation around say a dinner table could be a few hour deal... Does that mean we ate and talked for over an entire day with game time? It's all iffy in the end. That being said I love walking and using my chocobo to travel since ICly that's my character's job of sorts. Then use the Aetheryte system sparingly.

I'd wish they would let us gender swap the gear with Snow's outfit. Then again a few males in lightning's skirt would be amusing too just like the Foestriker skirt!

I usually take the time of day or weather in to account when we start a rp session at the time and roll with that setting even if it changes. Or just ignore it all together at times when rp's last for many hours vs something quick that last within the weather changes. @Zope Hah it would already be like what 4 years later since the game released?
