Well given this is the Eoarzean version, I'd probably get along well enough with my Lyirae and Arden. Just...thank god it's not the Azerothian versions because I'd probably get punched. A lot. With knives. They kinda went through some stuff back in those days and I don't think they'd be grateful...

I hate to say it but the only luck I've had getting into Balmung as of late was creating a character on another server and transferring him over. Not the best tactic and I'm still not sure if it's surefire or if I just got lucky with my timing when I put in for it.

Personally it comes down to the skill of the GM for me, just like with any sort of RP with a group of people I suppose. I've had some very good times in other MMO's with some amazing and creative GM's who were masters at big group events. And on the flip side I've had terribly boring encounters where nothing is really there to spark the imagination. I actually do a lot of RP with friends through email, Skype, AIM, and forums as well as ingame. I guess you could file me under that group of people who just loves to write and I'll happily take it anyway i can.

Ehh, a little bias towards your own group is always acceptable I say! Thankfully I'm off work tomorrow and Saturday so hopefully I can run across one or two of you.
