Narengal: "My... worst fear, yes?" She took a moment to think about it, despite knowing her answer, "Losing Izumi. I... would have no where to go without her, yes. She gave me a home when I came to this land by... becoming my home." The xaela smiled warmly as she talked about the woman, her tail swaying softly, "I could not imagine a world without her in it." Helaine: The dragoon sips her wine, sighing dramatically, "Fire, if you must know. It's.. odd being a dragoon with that fear, but let's just say I'm very thankful the Song is over." Helaine rubbed the burn scars that covered the right side of her face, a nervous tick, "You don't get lit on fire while... living and not take something from that experience to heart. Though, for me, it simply makes me fight more disparately." Another sip, "Dangerous for both me and my enemy, really."

Helaine Buinocette Former heretic and rather unrepentant about it. Helaine was an official Knight Dragoon of Ishgard, but defected three years before the songs end. Some time after the song ended, she finally applied for clemency. But due to holding off, she has been sentenced to ten years of military service in the 103rd Coerthan Ravens, a chapter of Temple Knights, and now serves in their ranks as a Convictor Dragoon. Currently unable to leave Ishgard and Coerthas unless escorted by a Knight. Hooks: Helaine was apart of the Knights Dragoon of Ishgard, perhaps your character served with her. Helaine fought with the Dravanian heretics for three years before the song, perhaps you either battled against her or with her? She is seen often around Coerthas, simply walking. She spends a healthy amount of time in the Forgotten Knight drinking, specifically, Ishgardian Red Wine. RP of Interest: Friends or new connections. She is capable of communing with ashkin revenants and assists in their passing on to the aetherial sea, whether violently or otherwise. Narengal's moral compass is slightly skewed due to certain childhood circumstances. She is incredibly loyal, very much so to a fault. She spends much of her time around the Shroud and the island of Vylbrand. Hooks Narengal was raised in the Nhaama, the desert west of the Steppe. Perhaps you're also from there or saw her on frequent trips to Reunion. Narengal trained in conjury for a short time after coming to Eorzea, but left the guild for personal reasons. Narengal is often seen wearing full robes covering her person during the day made of all black fabrics, regardless of temperature. RP of Interest: Friends or new connections. For Narengal, her mental world would be a recreation of her Kagon Iloh, but the entrance to the cave blocked off. Inside would be her deceased mother and father and all of the smiling faces she remembers of home. She would be willfully ignorant to her situation, delighting in being with her parents once more. At the entrance to the cave system, one would be able to hear the sounds of battle. Screams and jeers and the clash of steel. Outside, the sun would be shining, and her parents' bodies would be once more laid before her. An army of yellow garbed warriors shouting victoriously.

Narengal gets more openly affectionate and bluntly honest. She's like to find a friend and brush her horn on them and eventually fall asleep either leaning against them or by crawling into their lap, person be willing. She doesn't have a high tolerance, usually finding her friends after one or two drinks.

Yup! For Narengal I use the butterfly minion Morpho. More or less, the small bug is a half baked familiar that she created without intending to. In a way, summoning it as if a primal. Making a wish and using her aether to create her friend. The butterfly, Erveekhai, is always present around her and assists her in spellcasting by essentially having the basics for some spells coded into it. As if she has half of the equation already. It allows her to cast very basic spells without her staff, using Erveekhai as a focus!

Mainly long term RP! I have some basic plans for both characters, but I just don't have the contacts to do such things! Right now, Helaine is more mercenary type and is exploring who she is beyond the Song and her time as a Dark Knight. Nare is more centered around uncovering knowledge and potentially forbidden magicks! So anything that could assist or even act as an antagonist for those!

Alignment: Chaotic Good Narengal is a somewhat naive and gullible Xaela trying to learn more of the world. She primarily seeks out ancient and usually forbidden magics. While she lives in Othard with a clan of Xaela, she often visits Gridania and Ishgard for her mentor, Izumi. As of now, she is a practiced Conjurer and learning thaumaturgy, as well. She's most often found in the Forgotten Knight tinkering with her aetheric battery. Hooks: Helaine did fight in the Dragonsong War, perhaps you fought with or against her.
