The new race is a complete disapointment. The females look like Midlander's, while the males look big, bulky and kind of awesome. I don't know what I was expecting out of Squenix, but please those two do not look anything like the same species at all. :frustrated::frustrated::frustrated: I agree with the previous post, Sexual dimorphism makes me angry!

Well, I do actually have a list...but 90% of the time my commendation ends up going to the ONE person who didn't make a beeline for the end as soon as we won. Most of the time, by the time I click to end the ending animation EVERYONE but one of two is already gone. Why are people in such a hurry to leave? I don't fret over commendations, as a strict DPS I know hell will have frozen over before I earn my golden magiteck. that said, I have mad respect for a Tank who is both GOOD at their job, and not a total dushe. As a DPS, I generally find I get a commendation when I am patient, helpful and rather light hearted. Healer's who do a good job and are pleasant, positive and patient are next. DPS who do their job and do it well generally earn my commendation if the Tank and Healer did not, or have retreated at the speed of light as soon as the run ends. A negative player will never earn mine, no matter how good they are. Nor will an elitist

I remember waiting on the phone for nearly 5 hours waiting for FFXI support. I had lost my password back in the hayday of ffxi and that is what it took to get it back. Of course that was just the time I had the patience to wait...there were countless times before that I had given up after the 2 hour mark. All MMO's have terrible support.

Well, there are two of me to discuss. Hayden He being a jovial and happy blue collared Roeg will generally chuckle, smile or simply shrug it off. This being from friends, guild mates and relations of course. He always welcomes a hug from a well meaning friend or guild mate, and has been known to hoist familiar Lalafell up onto his shoulder on occasion! Emily She's a highlander who loves a good hug! She is always eager and willing to hug almost anyone, even a total stranger! Emily is a cheery young gal with an eagerness to belong and feel a part of things. She loves to spread cheer and joy and will giggle and blush if hugged or kissed. I do have a seldom played Alt, Azreiel. she is Emily's mother...hug her at the risk of losing an arm...

As one of the vetrin Roegadyn RPers around I will toss my two cents in. I went "Grizzled Miner" Hayden is a happy go lucky, blue collar kind of guy. The sort you always find with a drink in his hand and a song on his lips. He isn't overly chipper, he isn't overly grumpy, he is the every man so to speak. Sure he is as big as a mountain, but his heart is as gentle as a kittens. My main non gathering/Crafting class is White mage followed by Gladiator. Those are really the only two I plan to keep IC. My reasoning for this personality was simple. There seemed to be far to many grumpy hard and mean type Roeg npc's and the happy overly cheerful dumb guy didn't seem my style ether. so I went with this.

I agree with Aysun, it stands to argue that an economy built around stable players who have experience with the game would be an economy that is tried, tested and true. As for set in our ways, that is just silly. I can't even begin to argue with that one. Just choose which ever community holds the people most like you. Go where your friends are.

Well mine was ignored a wile back and has since gone lost in the threads of time, so I will rank the last name given and hope mine is not skipped over this time Zizirimu Yayarimu sounds like a Lalafell name...and a creative one. I will give it a 7. The names I would like rated are a Male Hellsguard Name: Hayden Olkendar and a female highlander name Emily Azeiel Kamba

If it is in game it can be used as cannon. while I have no plans to use it. I will respect those who do. Who am I to tell someone what in game devices they can or can not use?

In lue of recent events, we might want to seriously consider going with 8. See, number 2 on our list is "if they name a server Besaid, go with it!" but what is in a name? The COMMUNITY makes the server, and if we know a majority of them have chosen 8, maybe that us enough? Just food for thought.

I'd love to throw my two cents in on the Lodestone post, and my support for that matter, but even though I activated my account (after only a week of inactivity) it STILL wont let me post on the lodestone forms. SOOOO I have to wait. But I'm ok with the trolls spamming...after all the more posts the thread gets the more likely it is to be noticed by a forum Mod. they are actually doing us a favor!

So glad that there are opinions and voices popping up about this! I've changed my vote a few times because to be honest there are a lot of good arguments. I would like to open everyone's attention to this forum thread http://forum.square-enix.com/ffxiv/thre ... rver-merge Thevedis opened this up with hopes of keeping Besaid community united. We might want to keep and eye on the official forums for the next few weeks and when the time approaches make sure everyone over the community forums, Link shells and of course The Out Of Character Shell are kept aware. I'm not against petitioning for an officially recognized server, so long as its done well, and with elegant language. 9 seems like a decent fall back for now, if we don't hear from the Besaid community as a whole or the dev's on getting an official forum.
