[[ Silver Lily has finished their first major story-arc! Read a recap below! ]] Skybound Crown - A Recap The Silver Lily’s expedition into the northern lands began simply. They were to explore the lands, from Abalathia’s Spine, to Dravania, and find new trade routes, assist the Ishgardians (begrudgingly), and properly chart and map the area. However, all was not as it seemed as the first group, dispatched to the Coerthas Western Highlands, find a powerful crystal with an aspect of fire. Misplaced in the icy highlands, the group decided to bring it back for studies. Later, as groups explored more and more, they found that these crystals were showing up all over the place. One even found it’s way at the peak of Sohm Al. Another fell into the hands of Goblins in the Dravanian Hinterlands. These crystals were all uncommon for the area they were in, and roused normally docile creatures into powerful, rampaging monsters. Still, Silver Lily sought these crystals, and sought to know more. After gathering all the crystals, they suddenly joined together, becoming a beautiful, yet over-aspected cluster. They called it “The Crown” and traced it’s unique aether signatures back to an area known as the Diadem. Using their new found knowledge, Silver Lily took to the skies, entering the Diadem and learning it’s secrets. The sky-islands, held captive and in orbit by a threateningly large crystal in the center, still hold more secrets. Yet still, the group found that it was true. The Crown had come from the Diadem. Those same over-aspected crystals were found all over the islands, and had the same effect on the creatures that inhabited the lands high above the realm. The group, successful in creating another “Crown” soon found themselves in danger. A rival group known as the Crimson Roses appeared suddenly, and, as if they had been following the members of Silver Lily, cornered the men and women of the group and snatched the crystals before they could retaliate. The Crimson Roses baited the group to follow them into Azys Lla. Knowing full well that it would be a trap, Silver Lily prepared for a trip to Azys Lla. The neon-green colored skies spelled danger for Silver Lily, as they were met with resistance from strange beings made of pure aether. Though they held some semblance of man, they had no face, no expression. Yet their cries of anguish were heard loud and clear. The Crimson Roses had succeeded in trapping the Silver Lily members, and baiting them to fight. One of their own used the power of the Crown to transform themselves into, what was likely, a primal of great power. The name of this primal is yet unknown to the group. Still, Silver Lily pressed on. Tattered, bruised and seemingly beaten--if only for a moment--Silver Lily triumphed, using the power and quick thinking of their members, the primal was slain and a de-aspected cluster was returned to the group. However, the nearby Garleans and a special guest-- Proto-Ultima zeroed in on their commotion. Quickly boarding their airship: The Gilded Rose, the group made way for home, and some much needed rest.

The March of Sands is a march from Ul’dah to Little Ala Mhigo that is being organized by your friends at Silver Lily. To show our support and solidarity with those who have been annexed by Garlemald, and those who fight back to take their homeland from oppressors, we stand with you and we recognize you, and wish to show that the rest of Eorzea stands with you as well. Though the original stance from Silver Lily was to aide from afar, we’ve decided to be a little more outspoken and to reach out to those who seek us, to let them know, we are here for you! We need people from all across the realm to come and join us for the march. We are planning encouraging speeches, inspirational performances, and blood-pumping (or intelligence-inducing, for you mages) sparring matches. If you are a Free Company, Free Company Leader, or other individual, we want you to come and show your support with us! The march will gather in the Gold Court, move through the city, and Central Thanalan, and arrive at the Little Ala Mhigo settlement. If you’re not interested in marching, speaking, performing, or anything else, Feel free to stand along the path and cheer us on! All support is welcome. If you wish to participate in the event with us, please fill out THIS FORM. We are looking for people with dual seater mounts, people who wish to perform or give a speech, and of course, what kind of event in Thanalan would be complete without some good-ol’ sparring! Updates to Silver Lily! First, Silver Lily thanks everyone who came out to our Little Lilies' Day event last month. It was a great turnout for such a different kind of event and we were glad to host for you all. Secondly, recruitment shall be fully "open" soon! As we slowly, but surely, finish up our first major arc. Though! We did take in two new members, so, I'd also like to welcome Zakrin and Lahn Aier to Silver Lily!

[ltr]What is Little Lilies Day? Little Lilies Day is inspired of course by Little Ladies Day. Silver Lily has decided to give to the children of Eorzea. The orphans, the mothers-to-be, and the hard-working men and women whom are called “mama and papa” on a daily basis are our target audience for this day. On this day, we ask orphans, former orphans, expecting mothers, parents, grandparents, and everyone else in between to visit the Silver Lily Estate for a day of education, fun and of course, food! Any and all proceeds, donations or gifts shall be accordingly given to orphanages, infirmaries, educational facilities and other groups who assist children in the realm. When is Little Lilies Day? Little Lilies Day will take place March 12th starting at 8PM EST and will run until roughly Midnight. Where is Little Lilies Day? Little Lilies Day will take place at the Silver Lily Estate, Lavender Beds, Ward 6, Plot 1 Any and all donations (OOC or IC) are appreciated! EVENT IN ONE HOUR

I've received a few questions about the "donations" aspect of this event. Though we were mostly expecting IC donations, payment for food and drink, etc. We will accept OOC donations both for the Free Company as well as for expanding Saika into a bigger space--the proprietor of Saika, Oyun, hopes to someday own a medium house for her restaurant, and appreciates help! Similarly, Silver Lily appreciates any help given for our own development. Of course, we are not expecting OOC donations, but any given would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advanced for any help given, and we hope to see you tomorrow night!

As part of the Silver Lily’s ongoing mission to better the realm, we shall be doing once-monthly events to properly engage those in need of help withing the realm. From helping refugees find work and money, to visiting orphanages! We plan to help all those in need and make proper connections so the realm may prosper and grow! For the betterment of Eorzea. Our first event shall be held at “Saika”, a Doman-themed restaurant. The restaurant will be taking gil donations to help Domans. Similarly, Oyun, the proprietor will be looking for people to help out around the restaurant! So if you’re in need of work, speak with Oyun! You can find the menu for Saika by clicking here! We hope to see you there to help us better the realm. Saika is located in the Lily Hills Apartments, Apartment 16, Ward 6. The event shall begin on November 2, starting around 8:30pm EST.

You can’t stop the Silver Lily from throwing a party, and that is exactly what we’re going to do! The Silver Lily is celebrating all their awesome new friendships and members by hosting a night of meeting, mingling, and fun! We invite you all to share in the fun and get to know some of our latest new members, and even meet some of our veteran members. What kind of party is a party without some games? Here are a few we’ll be hosting during the evening. If you fancy yourself a Triple Triad master, come and test your card game skills against a few members or anyone else! You’ll find all the other triad-masters gathered in the foyer. Not too big on card games? How about drinking? Drinking contests at our newly-designed “Thousand Needles Bar and Cafe” will be held! Or, if you fancy something with a little less liver damage and just the right amount of extra skill and talent, come dance with us! Yes, we will be holding a dance-off!
