CALLING ALL ROLEPLAYERS. Before I begin this bit of a story arc, I need a few things from a few of you who either wish to participate, or wish to watch, or what have you! I’ll probably make a post on other roleplaying sites and what not as well, just to broaden the in-take of responses I get. So without further ado, let us begin: This RP/Story arc focuses on Jace looking for his mother in Ishgard after hearing she might be around the Coerthas area. Asking way too many questions, he has caught the eye of many inquisitors and others who just do not like the deeds Colleen (his mother) commit when she was around Ishgard years ago, before the Calamity. Therefore, someone must answer for her transgressions, and that will be Jace. Colleen and Jace have both been branded heretics. However, while Colleen escaped, Jace was still put under watchful eye, assuming the “alias” Kami’ya Jaan, the Adventurer so he could get closer to Ishgard. Despite his best efforts, he has recently come under watch again. With that bit of backstory, I’ve tentatively decided on February 10th 9PM EST as the date and time this whole thing will go down. If I get a good amount of responses that ask for a date change, I will most certainly do my best to accommodate. You can read all about it in the links waaay below. This link leads you to a google form I made for this event, it helps keep me organized. I know this is a lot to ask of you all, but as most of you know, I love big RPs with lots of people, so please bare with me and help out if you can! ;_; I’ll simply list my very needy-list of “NPCs” and other peeps here. Please use the google form linked above to sign-up for things: Inquisitors: Like, a handful would be nice. Elezens, Hyurs, whatevers. I’d even take some Heavens’ Ward RPers if they’re up for it! (I forget who to contact about that?) Judge: Self-explanatory, I need a person to preside over the whole thing. Judge Jace and what not. Jury(?): This is kind of pending since I can’t really recall if there is much of a “jury” for Ishgardian hearings. “Witnesses”: People who may have heard good or bad things about Jace or about Colleen (details can be provided about Colleen). Audience members: Audience members are NOT required to RP at all. They are more than welcome to, but this is more of an invitation to everyone to come and watch what I hope will be a great story. "Escort": For the days leading up to the trial, I would still like to RP a bit here and there. I'd like, if possible, an Ishgardian/Inquisitor escort to follow Jace around, making sure he isn't escaping to another land. RP participation as necessary. Finally, I’d like to stress this point: The outcome of the RP is not predetermined. Should Jace be found guilty, I will throw him in the vault for a while. Perhaps he will be rescued, perhaps not, I dunno yet. The point of this RP is to stir the pot, cause some drama, develop Jace, and further his story as well as give everyone a little taste of some cool RP. I've finally started up a little mini plot involving Jace and his mother and why he needs to go to Ishgard. Naturally, I cannot involve everyone, but I did want to invite those interested in meeting the self-proclaimed "Greatest Mind in All Eorzea" or those who were at least curious about the plot and the character to join in some RP from time to time. You can find Jace wandering around Coerthas and you will be able to find him around Coerthas until Heavensward, should you wish to RP, simply be in character and/or send me a /tell. If you are an Ishgardian Knight or someone of high status, Jace might have a few questions for you! Hello again, peeps. As I've told most people who were in the linkshell, I thought it was a bit forward of me to make up a list of time for people. This project of mine, the codex, will not be something I can just do in the week or two I planned (obviously) and I cannot expect it from you all or from myself. Things have come up in between now and then (good and bad things) that have made me realize such. That said, I'm not necessarily abandoning the project, rather, I'm simply going to call out to people on certain weeks to see if I can gather up a team during said weeks. I will use the list as a basis to try and get people into dungeons, but otherwise, at the moment, there are no longer any real set times. This project could take months, or even a year, and will continue to grow as the game continues to grow. And that's just fine with me, as long as it's fine with you all! Didn't know Barb was a gambler! Haha. Anyways, I'm glad people enjoy the idea. Although I'm sure it'll be packed with people non-RPers and RPers alike, I'm also fairly confident that those of us that do RP will have a good time with one another. So I'll definitely be Jace-ing it up for a while in Gold Saucer and I'll hope that you all join me!

Just for the day, really. I think it'd be fun to see everyone in a "gambling" mood. or everyone losing to games of Triple Triad and what not. Quite simply an idea for a little Balmung fun. Get your IC pants on, head over to the Gold Saucer and just be IC for the day! Seems like a few of the tumblr peeps like the idea, so let's try it out!

Made a few changes to the list. I've decided that I think it might be best to send people linkshell invites? That way I can keep some kind of track on the people involved rather than just mailing them/adding them/etc. If you don't have linkshell space, I will find a work around.

Anyways, there were a few people I couldn't fit due to time constraints, or multiple people wanting the same dungeon. In which case they will be placed under "reserves" and if anyone should drop out or if people want to join in, the reserves would get top picks. Furthermore, places where there are repeat characters, especially ones in the same Role, can be replaced by reserve characters. Sorry for the wait for an update! a lot of internet issues lately! Starting after Valentine's day, this little story-arc will begin. I'll begin making teams and sending out messages tonight, so now would be the last chance to get into this! As a note, if some dungeons fill up, I'll send a message asking if you'd like to do a different dungeon based on your role! Thanks a lot to everyone who signed up. You're all the best! The dungeon runs will begin around the 16th!

I was going to thank this particular group as well, as being a part of them when we were all around, it was really fun to entertain you all and I am glad such a group of people came together to make something fun and casual like that!

Hmm. Seems we're lacking some IC healers now! Healers, hear my call! As an update, as I said, I am thinking of doing this maybe just a few days after 2.5 drops so that people can enjoy their patchtime with friends and what not. It's looking to be mostly evening times, which is absolutely fine. As the days go on, I will start sending out "Moogle Mails" to those interested.

I personally can fit to most people's schedules. Generally Wednesday and Thursday are best for me, usually around the evening (From around 6pm~Midnight or later, EST). But like I said, I can usually worm my way into other people's schedules. Weekends I can usually make 6pm to Midnight, Sunday I can do a little later. If any of this works for you, let me know. Even if you don't necessarily have a time in mind, I still ask that you do the rest of the sign-up sheet. It's just much easier for me to keep track of and make teams and what not.
