Hey guys, Rae is looking for a job. Not a criminal job, or some mercenaries contracts. Just an honest job, hard labour or service. She's a fresh off the boat Doman refugee. She's capable and independent, a little bit boisterous. She is skilled in combat, but after travelling for so long, she just wants to settle down while she gets her bearings in Eorzea. She doesn't have a strong grasp of Eorzean language, however, so that may be an issue in certain jobs. She would prefer to stay in Thanalan, but will move to another city if necessary. I'm looking for some light-medium, social RP while I get my bearings and develop Rae Oryx as a full character. Hoping to have her work in some sort of cafe or tavern for a little while. We can RP her coming to ask for the job, and the interview process, which I think would be a lot of fun.

Hey gang(s), I'm going to be playing Rae Oryx, a spunky Raen fighter. FFXIV has been one of my favourite MMOs for a long time. I played the game like mad during the launch of ARR and the launch of Heavensward, and now I'm back again. The trick is that I was actually playing on Ultros that whole time. For my third coming, I decided to bite the bullet and transfer a new character to Balmung so that I can enjoy some RP while I play. I've been roleplaying on and off in MMOs since the late days of Star Wars Galaxies, so RP and MMOs have always been hand-in-hand for me. Like I said earlier, I plan on playing an excitable, pumped-up Raen. She's a refugee from Doma (like most Au Ra) and struggles to adjust to Eorzea, its culture and its language. I think it should be fun. I don't really know much about FFXIV's lore admittedly, so I'd love some coaching in that regard if anyone is willing to give it. Otherwise, I'm just looking for friends, both IC and out. Invite me to your LSs so I'm not lonely. I'd love to hear from some of you if you think we'll get along. I'll be cruising these forums and leveling until then. Ta ta

RP Style Amount of RP (light, medium, heavy): I am always in-character and willing to roleplay. Give me a shout if you see me! Views on RP combat and injuries: Combat is a two-way street. Both people need to agree to roleplay within the lines of realism. I will only engage in roleplay combat if I feel it would add depth to a scene and I am comfortable with the opposite person. Views on IC romance: Love me. Views on non-romantic RP (family ties, etc): I love making character ties, but only with people who I know well enough. Views on lore: The lore should always be followed to the best of each person's capabilities. I avoid anyone who blatantly shirks the lore, but understand if someone doesn't quite know the lore of the game. I'm still learning. Views on chat functions (/say, /linkshell, etc): I like to keep IC as much as possible. That's not to say I won't chat OOCly.
