  1. Hello and welcome to Gilgamesh, Ryder! You wouldn't happen to have been a player on GW2 PS? Since I had a good friend on there I use to RP with. The name is famillier. Either way, your character concept sounds interesting. Well, interesting as I can't wait to see where you go with it-and what happens in the future! If you ever wish to RP, send me a friendvite: Baer Reddicta
  2. Baer just stood like a giant red-topped monolith as he looked at the others. Focusing in on the Skittish-Kitty (Skitty!?) whom had answered, though he had no clue; since her words were so low that he couldn't even tell. Though his attention was brought to the sneaky-waitress whom had dropped off food and drink at the table. Raising a wrapped hand up to try and get her attention. "Waitress!" He called after her, making her stop quickly and look back at the large man. "Can you bring me something strong to drink-and something hearty to eat. Doesn't matter what it is." Still brightly smiling the whole while. The order acknowledged by a curt nod from the waitress led the Red-haired man to bring forth his attention back onto the group of people. Mainly the Skittish woman, in the back now. Probably hiding. "You alright Miss?" Repeating the question, tone warm and happy as he spoke. Not noticing anything amiss about her focus on the Keeper known as Aartur. Either not deigning to notice or he just was oblivious.
  3. Welcome to Gilgamesh! Feel free to hit me up in game when you want to, names: Baer Reddicta. Always looking for people to RP with. Right now certain areas are hot spot's on Gilgamesh, though at only specific times. I usually get the most RP out of the Bismarack. Though I spend more time now at the Ambrosia's bar (Which is in Costa Del Sol) as a tender. They are there, just up and down. A lot of the RP'ers right now are either in their little holes, staying to their group-or grinding to 50 before RP'ing a lot.
  4. People usually play characters that are younger then themselves because they want to be that age I have noticed. Atleast anyone I have bothered to ask-usually picks younger characters due to the fact they would rather be at that age. Or playing a character "Lacking knowledge" is the other theorem. Overall I prefer playing characters older then myself, far more fun for me. Just hoping for that once chance to yell: "GET OFF MY LAWN!"
  5. Baer gave a small nod to Elis, as she spoke up. "That's good to know. Thought I caused a ruckus again. I must agree with your words-Miss, is everyone alright?" Opening up his arms gently to encompass them all. As the Keeper spoke, a single brow raised along the battered Hyurs head. "Word's work good in situations like these." He said towards the end of the young man's confused tirade. Obviously being playful with the Catkin. Blue eyes moved downwards towards the Lalafell whom had spoken up now as well. Listening closely to the little fella's words carefully. Then chuckled. "Didin't bother me none. More worried about the girl-" Pointing to the spooked Catkin whom had begun a swift retreat earlier. "-there."
  6. Either he was really strung out or was more on guard then he appeared. He reacted with a sharp jerk to the side so he was no longer in line with the pouch being tossed to him by the unknown carrying-device assailant. Catching it with his hand that was still holding his headband. Blinking several times before he looked up at the woman above him. "You!" Laughing gently-which sounded quite ragged with how bad his lungs were mangled from the earlier pugilistic rendezvous. "Didin't expect to see you-and are you following me?" A playful tone escaping from his lips once more as he set down his travel bag on the ground. Using his wrapped hands to open up the pouch which he had just been given out of nowhere.
  7. Warm air was slowly pulled into ragged lungs as Baer woke up upon the Inn-bed he had rented for the night. A single hand moving to feel his face. Last night was rough... He thought as his digits felt over the multiple bruises along his face. Especially the one which had altered his eye socket color. Several small cuts had also opened up on his face again. Making the usual youthful looking man appear more of his age. Showing the deep wrinkles around his eyes and mouth. Rivulets of dried caked-on blood filling the crevices it could from where the injuries had opened. Atleast my eye didin't shut from the swelling! Thinking rather cheerily as he felt the 'Shiner' he had. Leaning up from the bed he walked over to pick up some of his clothes which he had within a small travelling sack. Throwing on a simple light-pink open shirt with wide cuff's, and slipping on his leather boots with dark grey trouser's. Just so he looked a little less...exposed when he left the room. It took him awhile until he realized that he was still wearing his handwraps from the night before, stained with blood and dirtied from a pristine white to mottled brown. Deciding to leave them on for the moment as he exited the Inn room and began a small trek into the main reception area and bar. With his long gait-it did not take long for him to enter the Hourglass Inn and delve into the depths of the Quicksand. Moving past some of the patrons whom had congregated within to find a seat at a table not far away. Not intentionally getting too close-but obviously enough to surprise one of the group. A Keeper to be exact. With a Compatriot Lalafell. At the catkin's response, the large man stopped in his tracks and put up his hands. "Sorry about that! Did I bump into you or something?" Deep voice carrying quite well. A bright smile on his face-in utter contrast to the grisly visage which is his face at the moment. Even his hair had a bit of blood-and sand in it. The braided crimson strands coated on all sides with granules, though only one had dried blood on it. Though it wasn't just the male whom had reacted rather...jumpily, it was a female at a nearby table with a friend it seemed. Both seeming rather offput and skittish from the large man's presence in a rather cascading manner. One thing lead to another in this case. ((Hope you don't mind I parrot off the Hyur Highlander in your last post's, if so, I can rewrite this all))
  8. Welcome to Gilgamesh! If you ever need someone to hang out with or RP: Lemme know! Names Baer Reddicta on the server.
  9. The easiest way to handle this: Use your imagination and act as if they aren't even there. Have a thick skin, as with MMO's-you will have lots of people looking to either annoy you or are just oblivious. Maybe I been playing for too long, but this seem's almost like a non-issue. Just let it go and RP away!
  10. Strangely enough-I am still lacking a FC to be in that is RP based. Lol. Hope you can find one! Their is a good chunk of them floating around on Gilgamesh. You will find one quick I think.
  11. Welcome to the party! Your seat is right over here. We've been expecting you.
  12. With that, a rather deep chuckle would escape his lips. "I may see about that later-I have a fight to get to." Then a sigh would escape the red-haired Highlander's lips as everyone sort of backed off from the table and not dared to spend their money like he did. Which wasn't all that bad. "Well I guess it's time for me to go then! Things to maim, women to please, places to be-all that jibber-jabber." Giving everyone a friendly wave. Slipping back into the crowd much like Kat. Forming into the waves of people as if he had not even been present in the world moments before... ---Some hours later--- ...The ground felt nice on Baer's feet as he walked along slowly. His bag over his bare shoulder. Still clothed in his fight clothes. Simple short's of blood red; matching his hair. And soiled brown strips of cloth wrapping his hands and feet. But he was at his destination, the docks. Unwrapping the headband from his forehead and holding it in one hand as he looked about for that sly cat-woman. ((Sorry I been slow on the replies. Just got back to a computer after a long bout of moving stuff+Working))
  13. Thank you! I could really see them growing out the class with having a job or class that comes from Pugilist that allows you to get hit by an enemy's attack and "learn" it so you can use it yourself in the future. That would be cool. Thank you as well!
  14. Absolutely awesome Artwork, Po. I may get a commission done by you then of my character-Baer! Since the one I was going to get fell through with the other person I was looking at. If you ever feel like RP'ing-hit me up on Gilgamesh! Or drop by the Ambrosia's bar, I can be found there RP'ing quite often, since I am a tender there. Names: Baer Reddicta. My play times aren't usually until 9pm EST weekday's usually. Weekends are odd hours. Hope to RP with yah sometime!
  15. Baer just smiled gently as he leaned back. Folding his arms over his chest as the gamemaster returned to the world. Shaking his head gently at her word's. "Maybe I meant both of you!" Feigning surprise playfully. Widening his eyes like saucers-before just letting them droop back down into their usual look. Watching the lithe being take off the blindfold with a bit of gusto, and another quippy remark. He couldn't help but respond in kind: "It takes a fool to recognize a fool!" No ill will placed within his word's, but certainly joviality. Opening up his arms he motioned to the other's, then back to Kat. "Play at your own risk, I can assure she doesn't bite-but she probably will sever you from your monetary wealth." Taking a step back so the others could move up if they wished. Chucking gently once more. Not bothering with answering Kat's last question at this point, acting as if he had not heard a thing and been more focused upon some strange architectural design in the floor.
  16. Not letting himself be absorbed into the quips and banter-he focused on the game at this point. Watching the swift motions of the woman's arms and hands working the shells all over the table. Squinting his eyes gently as he watched them move. Several wrinkles showed along the lengths near his eyes-showing just a bit of his age as he waited. Paid attention for once. His face was still a stone visage of joy, smile impeccably there and unmovable. A small chuckle escaping his lips at this point. Raising a single hand to rub his chin as he looked at the three lonely shells, now bereft of hands touching them-as Kat had finally let them go. Brushing his right hand over his jacket-he moved over to the table. Looking at all three shells in turn. Naturally wishing to reach for the middle one, right hand stopping right over it. "THIS ONE!" He shouted and suddenly went for the left one with his left hand, shaking the table with his sudden motion. Flipping the left one revealed...NOTHING! An empty table was only what was there. He made a small sigh, chuckled softly, and then grinned. "Let me guess, it was the middle one." Then quickly flipped the middle one which his right hand had been above during this period. Revealing a red ball! "Knew it." Is all he said. Grinning gently as he stepped back from the table. "You've won. Fair Maiden." Bowing his head gently at this point.
  17. "Could not have said it any better myself." Just as cheery as he was a bit before, little to nothing seemed to bother him. Loss, win, he was having a good time. Chuckling again gently as he folded his arms once more over his chest.
  18. Looking over now to the midlander whom had revealed himself to the group, talking to Kat and having decided to join them, he motioned him over with one hand. "Reinforcements! Join me my brother! I should not be in this battle alone!" Motioning for the guy to come over with one large hand. Giving him a look over quickly, obviously making a few notes of the man's bow. Since it usually denoted a hunter's trade or a professional archer's. Then began to look between everyone once more.
  19. Finally knocked out of his near-constant-choke-giggling-stop-snort-fit's, he turned to regard the second newest of people joining them in the small group. Looking the woman over slowly with his blue eyes. Still grinning widely as he motioned with his hand to Kat and then nodded. "It's probably just one of her hidden kink's. Playing games blindfolded in public. Such indecency." Very sarcastic-once more. Then turned slightly back and forth-looking between the three Miqo'te now. As one had just announced her presence as well from the crowd, asking about the game itself. "I'm getting swarmed." Somewhat rhetorical remark at this point.
  20. The red haired highlander just stared at her for the duration. Bringing a hand to his face for a moment before shaking it slowly. Having watched her fumble about for her shell's and table, grinning still. Leaning forward, one hand moved out to pull up her blindfold for a moment. "Yeah, someone stole your stuff. I got it back for you." Sarcasm. Sarcasm dripping off his word's like sludge off a pier. Trying hard to not burst out laughing at this point. Sputtering every so often due to this.
  21. Well....not really Brazilian... it's more likely a form of Ala Mhigo Jiu Jitsu. Still Jiu Jitsu. *Flops around and hisses uncontrollably*
  22. Will be keeping an eye out for you then when I am not zipping by in my retard-powerlevel-mode. Edit: And will add you to my friends list when I can! Make's it way easier.
  23. Will try and bring some good information to the table! And hopefully others begin posting and adding their own POV's about it all.
  24. Interesting character concept. Hope to see you around on Gilgamesh! If you ever log back onto the forums to see this, that is, add me on there. Character name is in my info.
