Hey all, Its been a minute since Ive been on here or in game due to many RL things. Since then however, I have completed my K9 academy and am looking to get some RP going. I will be coming back with a friend also which is nice, as I will at least have one person I know! Anyway, I will be renaming and re designing my main character but am looking for connections and seeing as I dont have a backstory yet, I am seriously considering filling a role if someone has one that needs filling for their story. As long as I can bring my friend in on the RP, she is awesome dont worry. Im kind of in a rush as a write this being I am working but Id love to get to know you all and see what we can come up with!

Hey fellow rp peeps, Ok so herea the deal. Me and brother charac aedan mathis have a pretty epic story going. Pm me for details, but long story short. My character Nathaniel is captain of a pirate crew, along with that he has some conflic with his brother and his friends. There is also treasure involved. I was wonderin if anyone would like to play as a crew member, rather than just npc the crew i thoight it might be cool to let some peop seeking rp get in on rhis awesome plot. Its pretty deep but the pirate crew would be another branch story of its own aswell so no one would be left out or far behind in plot. Let me know!

Awesome! Please do! In his story, Nate left with a group of bandits, after killing his father. The father used to be one and when they found out where he lived they came for him, for leaving them some time ago. Nate was the younger of two brothers and the least favored, he didnt want to be a smiths son, so when he saw the opportunity he took it. Now this could be a different group of bandits or perhaps your group. That we can work out whenever . There is a small RP plot going on around this concept with both brothers and a few of their friends. Needless to say the brothers are about to clash like titans when the older one finds nate.

Are there any players who are RPing a group of bandits/thugs and are there any players who form a soldier/military style RP group? My one character Nate would fall under the bandit style and another character would be the military style. His character concept is pretty much written as a Greek or Trojan style warrior tuned to FF lore so I figured it would be cool to get him into a group that would make spartans look like teddy bears.

I really appreciate the clarification. This makes it easier to decide. I may end up making him a 4th string soldier who only got mere minutes of battle or suffered an injury and started his own retreat in order not to fall, (this would bring guilt and sense of dishonor.) I will reflect on all this and post up a mini bio when I am done!

So a retreat to limsa or the other towns could have been why he survived. Staying and helping after the destruction, helping rebuild and all could go hand in hand with where he retreated too.

Thanks! That's what I was thinking. But I was confused on how widespread the destruction went. With more research I learned not everything was destroyed.only the immediate area. So I think I will expand on this character concept and have him as a foot soldier who retreated.

Thanks I appreciate your input. I know for a fact the battle was between the alliance and the garlean empire. Those were the troops on the ground. Neither wanted bahamut to do what he did.the empire wanted the nation to save its people from itself. Divine intervention in a way though they are going about it in. Evil way. Apparenygly many battles were fought. But in this particular battle everything was effected. Anyone else have any input?

Hey all Im researching lore. Had a question hopefully you all can clear up for me. Thinking of making an alt character to rp. A Highlander lancer. Now is it possible for this man to have been a front line soldier at the big battle that took place when dalamud released bahamut? Could he have been fighting the empires ground troops and survived a retreat and have memories of the battle and his comrades? Also are there any military style free companies? The calamity was 5 years ago? Much appreciated!

Hey all, Just got my connection back and I am back in game, woot! I have an 18yo Hyur male who has quite the past. It intertwines with a couple other players and makes for some great RP. I am however seeking some more connections. Maybe a good friend, rival/enemy?
