  1. A soft chuckle escaped Clavier as the toad fell dead in the water at last, "That is one less problem.", his tone finding a quick shift from relieved to more troubled. As his fingers released the bow and allowed it to drop onto the floor with a soft thud. "This'll be the next." His words spoken out more silent as his eyes shifted up to his fellow travelers, drops of the toxin drips down from his fingertips. Seemingly an amount of the toxin being released from the toad had reached Clavier and covered most of his right arm and several drops on his face.
  2. Clavier shook his head as the eagle-eyes appereance of his eyes shifted back to their normal piercing green color. His posture remaining firm as X'ache seemingly went up close with the struggling toad. A single arrow once more being drawn from within the quiver that hung on his shoulder. Quickly pulling it backwards till the string reached his cheek, "No more pain.", he uttered to the arrow before releasing it with the similar whisteling of the arrow making it's way through the air. The tip of the arrow aimed for the very underbelly of the beast.
  3. At the moment I am mainly watching One Piece, SnK (Attack on Titan) and Avatar: A book of spirits or whatever it's called atm
  4. (( OOC: It's okay , real life stuff comes first )) The crimson dressed Miqo'te leaned forward and seemingly whispered something in the long ear of the carbuncle before giving it a small tap with his fingertips. A light smile forming on his lips as he lowered his head against the neck of the chocobo he sat upon. "Ofcourse. Just don't tickle him, he doesn't like it." As soon as he finished talking the carbuncle leaped down from the chocobo's head and onto the sand, almost seemingly never really touching it as it ran across the sand with light and stretched jumps all around K'mih before making one big jump onto her shoulder with ease.
  5. "Belly. I understand." Clavier responded to the driver as he in a rather calm manner reached back over his shoulder to take out a single arrow, the arrow being longer and of a darker color wood. His eyes widened as he as the large toad sprung into the air with the decision to crush Tobias or Lorielle, due his distance unable to aid them. Even though he had been silent for most of the trip and was visibly not the most happiest with the amount of occupants he traveled with he had no desire to see any of these people injured if he could help it. His fingertips resting the arrow in the middle of the bow as he started to pull it backwards, only a faint whisper audible coming from him as both his eyes seemed to shift of their appearance becoming yellow in color with a pitch black iris almost resembling the eyes of an eagle. As the sun shined down upon them, the tip of the arrow revealed itself to be bright yet as it was made out of blood. His eyes shortly locking onto Tobias who had gracefully saved Lorielle and seemingly even enjoyed their short moments upon the floor. Smiling as she got onto his feet and casted a spell upon the broken earth to use nature as a weapon. "Hey ugly one over here." Clavier shouted as his eyes gazed upon the jumping Toad, his shouting a mere attempt away from Lorielle at it getting it's attention and unfortunately even getting it as it turned to face him clearly enraged by the contineuous damage to it's eye and almost instantly leaped into his area revealing the underbelly. He hoped it wasn't as elegant as Tobias and able to spin mid flight to dodge the arrow as it was released from his bow and whistled through the air with a similar whisteling.
  6. As everyone seemingly started to get out of the cart he took a few more steps closed till right at the front of the cart. The sudden tongue flinging forward caused Clavier to stagger abit aside as one of the chocobo's just brushed past him in it's rampage. A sigh escaping him as he looked down at the two arrows still rested on the bow, "Still here. I see." As the toad seemingly prepared itself to jump in Tobias direction, Clavier shifted his feet across the sand while pulling the string and both arrows backwards till just beside his face. His voice lowered into a soft whisper, as if speaking to the arrows. "Eyes only." With the soft whisteling both arrows are released from inbetween his fingers and fly in the direction of the toad, unknowing if they would strike the target.
  7. As the cart shook for that short moment as both Chocobo's reacted to the large toad's arrival, Clavier rapidly picked up the bow from beside him on the bench. Taking slow steps down from the cart and onto the hard ground. His hand clenching along the frame of the bow as his gaze shifts up to the sky. "All I wanted was to head home after this annoying errand for one of the Seventh Dawn Scions." His fingertips sliding along the feathers at the end of two arrows before retracting them out of the quiver, resting them at the middle section of his bow without further pulling back the string of the bow. Clearly having no intrest in actually confronting the beast. "Lets hope it moves away.."
  8. Went to a 'prom' a year or 2 ago. (me on the left.)
  9. His fingertips scooped some sand up as he stood up from the shade - softly humming a gridanian song to himself as he made his way back to the cart. Shortly letting his gaze linger on each occupant before taking a seat at his former spot just at the small steps of the cart.
  10. The crimson dressed Miqo'te patted the chocobo's next as they came to a halt not that far from the ground. An ever present smile present upon his lips as his gaze shifted between each individual. From the Elezen tasting the sand to the two sister and onto the last figure a lost Elezen female who seemingly such as the Elezen male had a taste for Sagolii sand. "Well to start it off. Eve-..", he suddenly ceases to talk as something tries to make it's way up below the crimson shirt at his chest. After a few moments of the miqo'te wriggling and letting out a few curses a head of a Topaz carbuncle pops up at his collar and stares at the two miqo'te sisters. Moving a hand up to the neck of the carbuncle, the crimson dressed miqo'te places the companion atop of the chocobo's head. "Stay. Now.. As I was saying. Evening to you all."
  11. Without a word Clavier stepped down the steps of the cart and onto the heavy sand, merely taking up a glimpse of the spear Daca'li had used almost as a leaning stick. Dragging his own feet through the sand he walked over to a small wall within the shadow of the bar, dropping down against it with a soft thud. Letting his own gaze linger upon the cart and it's occupants.
  12. Without any form of notification the miqo'te turn back - the distant screech of the chocobo cheerfully echoing along the sand dunes. After a few moments the chocobo would appear at the top of one of the dunes at the side and with a slow stride it makes it's way downhill. The miqo'te now in clear sight for the two Miqo'te and Elezen, the attire consisting of almost seemingly crimson silk, very unfitting for the area they have found themselves in and for a miqo'te on it's own. "What is going on here? And once again apologies for scaring you."
  13. As his hands fell back onto the hard surface of the rock his yellow eyes locked onto the chocobo with a lowered head. Starting to climb to his feet he spoke out to the chocobo. "You scared them. Well done.", His eyes adjusted nicely to the darkness searched down along the path for the two miqo'te's he had startled by accident or his chocobo rather. "I'm sorry. We didn't mean to startle you two.", he shouted out with the most apologetic smile on his lips as he spotted the two.
  14. His bright yellow eyes gazed down at the two miqo'tes down below in the sand. Both hands resting at his chin as he kicked some sand away from the rock he was resting on, "Where'd you think they come from, Screech?" he'd whisper to the chocobo standing beside him. The chocobo only letting out a screech far to loud for the Miqo'te laying on the rock. His hands moving to his own ears with a light grunt following as a response.
  15. Welcome to FFXIV I hope you'll be staying for the long haul and hopefully we get to roleplay once. Always feel free to send me a msg ingame for rp if you want to. :moogle:
  16. Seated at the entrance staircase of the cart Clavier felt no need to take part in any conversation at the current time, merely drifting away within his own memories and nightmares as he stared out at the passing landscape and it's creatures as they moved by. His expression no longer having taken on that of a joyfull smile and welcoming look in his eyes, but only a grim look upon his face as his hands held tighter onto the bow as his mind fell into a certain darkness of memories.
  17. Lowering his back against the railing at the very front entrance of the cart a sigh escaped him as he merely gazed out to the gates of Ul'dah with a somewhat relieved expression. "Finally leaving this place behind me.", the dark green irises concealing themselves behind his eyelids, softly humming to himself. A wooden bow resting on his lap with a singular arrow as if preparing himself incase the journey took a turn for the worst.
  18. Clavier's hand gripped onto the railing of the cart as several passengers stepped alongside him and up into the cart his eyes shifted to examine each individual passenger. Merely giving a nod and a short, 'Good trip to all of you.', starting to take a step up onto the cart he turns around to look at the Elezen running up with alot of huffing and puffing, his own hand raising up to motion the driver to hold for a short moment as he dropped down on the very beginning of the cart bench - his right hand held out to her "Come on. Just in time."
  19. Clavier easily managed to keep up with Kie as she fled to the back of the cart, both hands moving to rest gently upon Kie's shoulders, a soothing smile upon his lips aimed down at her rather then laughing at her reaction at the word 'bandit' nor make fun of her. "You're perfectly safe. The caravan is just like you completely safe. And if something was to happen you have my promise that I will see you home safely." - his fingertips giving a reassuring squeeze in her shoulders before dropping his hands from her shoulders. His body turning to face the keeper while standing at the Miqo'te's sound. "No talk of bandits anymore, Keeper. I'm not to fond of making teasing jokes on things that are very real.", his right hand resting at the string of the bow left hanging on his shoulder, his attention wandering to the hired help known as Tobias for but a few moments.
  20. His gaze shifted over to her as the cart driver stepped away from the conversation to check up on the chocobo's. "Good morning, Kie.", the vocal greeting with a light bow as a form of respect. "You shouldn't worry none of the people that travel between Ul'dah and Gridania have no intrest in gil. Bandits on the other hand. So how are you a feeling?". A smile forming on his lips as he spins two gil coins inbetween his fingers while keeping his attention focused upon the Miqo'te infront of him.
  21. I. Basic Info Characters: Kinnison Clavier Primary character:Kinnison Clavier Linkshells: N/A (still looking) Primary RP linkshell: N/A (still looking) II. RP Style Amount of RP (light, medium, heavy): I consider myself to be medium to heavy roleplay. Views on RP combat and injuries: Combat is not something I'm really intrested in due to it's nature and it just being one of these things that can only be done with people you trust, otherwise the chance of powergaming is there and it gets annoying quick. Injuries on the other hand if roleplayed out realistically I'd be willing to deal with. Views on IC romance: I think romance has it's place in ever story. Be it from a relationship to a one night fling, it always has a spot somewhere so if it was to occur in the story I'm creating with my main character then so be it. I enjoy every type of roleplay minus combat. Views on non-romantic RP (family ties, etc): Every character has a backstory that involves family, enemies, visits to the bar. Non-romantic RP makes up for most of the roleplay. Views on lore: The lore is what makes the game in which we roleplay in, so in my roleplay I tend to abide by it and use it aswell. But I'm not that strict about it. Views on chat functions (/say, /linkshell, etc): For me in say everything is IC unless it's within brackets to show that it's OOC. Linkshell will always be LOOC for me same with guildchat and the other chats. Unless stated otherwise by the person talking and giving a valid reason on why it's IC such as use of magic, communication devices etc. III. 22. Clavier stood with his back pressed into the cart - seemingly conversing with the driver of the cart. A laugh escaped Clavier in the midst of the mumbling between the two men, his attire consisting of the same leather jacket and hemp shirt as she would've witnessed him with before. The only clear difference would be the bow hanging over his shoulder. His eyes shifting to look at the Miqo'te as she arrived in the vicinity, easily following her arrival up by waving almost happily in her direction before returning his attention to the driver that stood before him.
  23. His gaze lingered upon the miqo'te while giving a short wave in the direction of the newcomer. "I only teach them if they want to learn truthfully.", his fingertips enwrapping the flute as he tossed it with a slow motion in the direction of the huntress. "I'm sure you don't need teaching?"
  24. One of his arms lifted up to hold out his hand to her, "I'm sorry. My name is Clavier, pleasure to meet you Kiearia. I only ask because traveling alone is not really the most enjoyable experience. I can handle an early morning, for this once.", an ever gentle smile playing at his own lips. The midlander clearly trying to put the miqo'tes mind at peace due to noticing the change in her expression and tone.
  25. As he fell back into his chair a sigh escaped him, "Seems we have similar paths. Maybe we should travel together back to Gridania It sure would make the trip more pleasant I believe.", his gaze wandering between the Kieaira and Aartur. His right hand picking up the leather jacket to slide his arms into it, the brief emblem of a bow and sword sewn into the inner part of his jacket visible to all at the table.
