Hey, As a Belgian roleplayer sometimes I wonder if there are other belgians, dutch people roleplaying about on Balmung. As in my current FC there are no other belgians or people from the netherlands. Which at some moments kinda saddens me. It's always fun to roleplay with others that speak a similar language. Not to roleplay in but just to converse in ooc in first language and about topics of intrest that surrounds our beloved countries. Hue - Nirri, Landrenel Aspen.

As the Elezen thief sprung into action, the sultansworn merely took a few steps backwards with a suprised expression. His right hand even releasing the hilt of the blade, "Right. She's fleeing." he muttered to himself. Only allowing his gaze to follow her for a moment or two before his attention fell back upon Tobias. "Right. I'll take that back to the Goldsmith's." he'd say, a rather commanding tone taking form in his voice as his body arched forward to retrieve the open sack with the stolen merchandise from the man.

At the mentioning of the fact she was one of the many goldsmith's within the city. Traveling or not, the light smile fades back into a faint grimace. "No suprise then. You goldsmith's always overprice.", he'd say with a sort of disapproving tone within his voice. His posture relaxing somewhat as the scene seemed less trouble then predicted at first. "Look. If she isn't offering you a fair price go find some other goldsmith. There's always one with a lower price."

The Sultansword tilts his head abit as the water drips down from his neck onto the cold stone of the Golden Court floor. The only indication he had even heard anything of Yloise's words was his ears perched abit upwards - only after a few moments he'd straighten himself out and started moving in the direction of Tobias and Yloise. On closer inspection the only piece of his attire that resembled the Sultansword was his tunic, the rest of it just bits and pieces that looked worn by time and travel. "Evening, are you two alright?" he'd ask them. A certain elegance and care within the tone of his voice, as if he had no problem sounding as genuine as he did. With a light bend of his upper body he offered both of the individuals a bow in a way of greeting them with more then words. Two golden cross earings swinging at as they hung from his ears, reflecting a certain kind of wealth.

The noise of chainmail emits from one of the corridors leading in and from the Golden Court. Three individuals stepping into golden court with far to much noise either drunk or just loud in general - the center piece of the attention being a Miqo'te Seeker clad in the uniform of the Sultansworn most likely having just received it by the sounds of what his two female companions were giggling about. "Oh. Land, tell us about the stories." one of them would say as her arm entangles his, even though any man would be amused or rather happy with the company of a female Miqo'te hanging at every word of his lips the Sultansworn seemed less then pleased almost frustrated as he shakes his head swiftly. "Ladies, neither am I a Nunh and I'm far from interested in the likes of you two." he'd respond with a rather commanding voice forcing him arm out of her grasp and makes some shoo-ish gestures as one does with a stalking pet without trying to piss it off to much. A slap following almost immediately after his gestures. The two female companions hissing viciously at the Sultansworn Miqo'te before storming off most likely to find themselves a more willing victim to their need for attention and money. Completely unaware of Tobias and Yloise's affairs or even knowing of their presence he moves over to the fountain and dips his hands into it and splashes some of the water upon his neck and face.

The man had fallen onto his knee and locked eyes with Clavier. A raspy sigh escaping Clavier as he took a few staggered steps backwards, the weak grip on his blade being released as the body fell over completely in the sand infront of his feet. "I-..." he managed to bring out before Tobias gave him an order. Without any confirmation given he turned in the direction of the wagon where he had last seen Kieara. Blood flowing down from his right hand and the left arm that hung useless at his side. Each step followed by a pained groan, to anyone observing him he would seem to struggle with even taking the smallest step. "Kie-..Kieara?" he brought out with a pained voice as he neared the cart, It's starting. My vision. The green irises turning yellow as he grunted, forcing most of his energy into a technique called 'Hawk's eye'. Noticing Kieara's movements somewhat easier in the darkness but it quickly faded and was replaced by a blurry sight just as he had approached her. His right and working arm reaching out for her wrist.

Does anyone know if there are any armor sets that look similar to that of Garlean armor? http://img163.imageshack.us/img163/4121/judge.jpg Ofcourse, not completely. But similar?

As the young girl hid behind the chocobo. A soft 'Kweh' was heard from the chocobo as the arrival of a newcomer with a rather harsh fall took place, the crimson red Miqo'te reached within his own attire seemingly gripping something. After hearing the man's first words he shook his head. The carbuncle remained silent upon the girl's shoulder, rubbing it's head into her cheek as if trying to comfort her from the fear that was rushing through her, if she was to look closely at the side of the chocobo below some of the traveler satchels was a single shield with a sword somewhat hidden. "Unfortunately yes. It's a long story." He'd say with a lightly saddened tone as his gaze shifted from the new arrival back to her, even though his tone sounded saddened he kept a light smile present upon his lips.

Shit... He's still alive! Flashed through Clavier's mind as the blood seeped from across the wound on the highlanders chest. Two more. Two more minutes he figured he had left before his physical condition would start to deteriorate rapidly, his footsteps carrying forward closer to the highlander to continue with his attack. Get hit. Deteriorate directly but possibly succeed? He had no choice at this moment as he watched the steel butt of the greataxe moving in his direction, His entire posture shifting to show his left shoulder completely to the man, his blade moving above his own head. After but a few moments the pain and sound of a bone either shattering followed. Clavier's left arm going completely limb upon the impact of the steel butt. NOW! The internal screaming of pain and mind seemed to fuel his desperation to end this fight as quickly as possible. A steel black blade swung downwards aimed to either cleave into the man's shoulder and neck area or just strike upon the man's chest once more. The highlander would easily be able to identify the desperation in his action but Clavier's condition had caused him to take the impact of the steel butt rather then dodge it causing him to be in a rather close position to the man.

You can always contact me for RP, I'll always be up for some roleplay no matter what it's kind. From going to find something/someone, to research... to whateeeever. I'm always willing to drop my leveling for a few hours for RP. In my opinion on... Point 1. I think if you design a female character you'll get more roleplay because it's how it works. Every male character wants to meet it's female counterpart. And there is far more male characters. Point 2. When I tried to roleplay a quiet character that kinda kept his emotions to himself I felt like you're one of those outcasts mainly due to own fault. You close yourself off to people and they instantly asume it'll be like that always. The best thing you can do is find a good neutral zone inbetween the quiet bookish and cheery. Point 3. Not really sure what you mean with this. Elaborate? Point 4. If you set up a plot for people to RP in. You'll draw in a variety of people who at first just check the plot out and then split off if doesn't appeal to them or not. It's a very common thing that happens with every plot. So a variety of plots assists with this. Point 5. I think this is something to do with the entire fact that... The person is either waiting for you to contact him and in return you are waiting for him. Causing this stalemate in who contact's who. But further on that I haven't seen you roleplay or met you yet.

As Lorielle broke free with a nasty movement against the man's groin area. Clavier turned around to face them now rather then his back. An expression of disgust visible upon his face both due their own motivations of hurting Lorielle and the truth he had just shared with people he didn't know. His right hand clutching into a fist for a moment before he barked out to them. "You know what we Garleans are very good at? Killing." The tone of his voice sounding rather confident due to his predicament of barely wearing any clothing during a heavy storm and being unarmed against before two armed bandits. A greataxe and a sword. Big and small. He knew there was a way to turn this entire. Not without having the girl in the way. She would need to keep him alive by the end of the upcoming fight. "Go to Kieara, keep her safe." This time he shouted more then he was talking, the flames of the burning tree casting the shadows far and wide. A spectacle on it's own within the storm. His eyes locked shortly with Tobias as the black blade was casted into the air towards him. The chocobo running in their direction was but a minor issue in the current scenario as he stood in his spot till the blade was just near him. Unlike skilled gladiators and mighty warriors from stories, the hilt didn't land perfectly in the palm of his hand but the blade rather. He could feel the flesh in his hand opening as the blade slipped through it till eventually the hilt rested in the palm of his hand. By the time the hilt was within the palm of his hand he had already taken several steps into a run directly for the bandit holding the large greataxe. The black steel becoming almost completely invisible as the darkness started to consume the people in the night, but he knew where he was going to hit if that man didn't defend himself. The blade was making an upward movement for the man's chest. My body can't take much more of this. The cold, toxin and endless pain. This needs to work. Clavier only hoped that the reaction time of the highlander with a greataxe and all the confusion from the chocobo's and storm had given him enough time to strike.
