  1. Thanks for clarifying. :approve: Oh and another thing that always cheered me up is College Saga. Here the first part:
  2. Yeah, creepy voices. The Joker (Batman Animated) or The Watcher (Darksiders) And what's with Jack Nicholson?
  3. I honestly don't know anyone that does not like J. S. Bach's "Air" ^^ If I am not mistaken, that is. And I am pretty sure you all know the singer Jade, who sang "1000 Words" from FFX. In her time as the lead singer of Sweetbox they had a take on Air as well. I'll give you a rocket snail for that
  4. *hands Asyria the badge of Overcute* That was SO adorable! Oh and I got another one
  5. You hit a weak spot there, Tadir! I loooooove otters! My contribution to this thread, always cheers me up ^^ http://canadian-rainwater.deviantart.com/gallery/#/d2qpx33
  6. And not just that, all of the players are individuals and free people. No one has the right to decide what is okay and what not for others.
  7. It's not just Denmark >.< However, I dug out this again: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0aFKSvw4bjU
  8. Of course the second part is way better ^^ The first one was made as an art project in their school, the second one was made with them already being a small company. The first part is more or less a blended mix of generic things that -do- go wrong in the average campaign e.g. the natural 20 or insisting on the ambush roll or stuff like that.
  9. Those are all very deep thoughts and most certainly fit to the headline, but didn't it run off-topic a little? I just felt to inform everyone about the wonderful art piece the Dead Gentlemen created since there were no hits for it when I searched for The Gamers. :geek: And to the topic of the off-topic topic: I myself try to keep it with actions as well. Not stay inside the skin of my character but rather look at him from a movie camera or a theater's audience point of view.
  10. ... or the ultimate guide on How To Annoy Your Storyteller. I haven't found this on the board yet, so I though to post them. If you have about 50 minutes time and like a good laugh watch The Gamers. The second part takes about 90 minutes, if you want to watch that too. Someone posted it up on youtube with a playlist. However, since I am not sure how green Dead Gentlemen Productions is with their stuff being on youtube (you can as well order it on DVD) I am a little hesitant about linking directly to it. Either way, I strongly recommend to watch it and I had a ton of fun with both movies. In this sense: ALL HAIL THE BANDIT KING!!!
  11. Did you finish your storyline quest? I know that you get one skill during it as a tutorial to equip them. I did not play a mage so far, though.
  12. Did anyone else see the orbs in different sizes (apart from pulsating, that does not count)? Sometimes I have the feeling that the orb is bigger and "easier to hit" than on other times.
  13. Heh, sounds like quite the opposite to my new job. I'm currently in schooling as a call center agent for amazon. I'm sure I'll have -tons- of fun Library, surrounded by books and their words. Absolutely lovely, gratz ^^
  14. I didn't craft too much in beta, but I got a multitude of other colors as well together with a status message that one of the harnessed element crystals became unstable. Apart from that I side with your theory. Oh, and I always wait once when an action botched.
  15. Try to see it from another angle: in real life everyone can be interrupted as well ;P I got my copy today after work. Nice that the map is dyed into cloth. Love it.
  16. That was only a DirectX problem in the fullscreen. Window mode is already "minimized" so it cannot happen there ^^ However, I cannot say if it is DX10 that's at fault there. Maybe it is possible to minimize on XP systems... nor if the game would run in anything less than DX10 at all *scratches back of head*
  17. Now those lyrics should have been available about 10 years back when I sat with my mates in our LAN cellar singing the original song out loud for hours. Good times.
  18. Oh wow... is that car made of styrofoam? Reminds me of a car only available for the peeps in the old GDR. We from the western side called it lovingly Cardboard Racer, sine it mainly IS made of cardboard.
  19. To the Roegadyn: I don't know much about Welsh, but I some of the NPC names remind me a lot of messed up versions of words from my native tongue: German. Mostly the one standing in the Gladiator's Guild at the entrance to where you have to fight in the arena in Ul'dah during "Some Like It Hot." He is called "Swerdahrm" which reminds me a lot of the word "Schwertarm" and would mean "Swordarm" in English. There were a few other cases, but they are slipping my memory now ^^
  20. Actually... I think to have a small cameo of Onion Knight in XIV is pretty sweet. I pre-ordered the CE, but rather for the token and the concept art journal. And to be honest, I'd prefer the goggles over the helmet for their stats and overall look/use. Unless the goggles have a level cap for their use it's a real advantage, even with the extra days for the CE. Furthermore... I cannot think about role-playing with that helmet apart for an excuse of it being an artifact (which it technically is...)
  21. Kraehenfeder as Celia Liennett in Ul'dah. Going to stay there on release as well.
  22. Yay, Besaid! For some random reason I started there before it won. Now I am actually able to keep the name :geek: As for the Miqo'te names I have encountered so far I am a little disappointed that we are actually not able to make them as they are in the game. One I really like is F'lhaminn, as an example
