As many others said it's probably brought on by Mistells or in some cases like mine your first exposure to RP is just disturbing or silly. My first exposure to RP was a ad on Gaia online and sparing the graphic details, for ERP with a Kingdom Hearts setting and with rather shameless wording. It took a friend of mine explaining it along the lines of. "Think of it like this, RP is like you're writing a book. Except it's 2 player, together you write a story based on the subject." To help me get over my negative impression of that. He eventually convinced me to give it a shot and it became one of my creative loves in life. So all we can do is try to slowly change people's minds one at a time however we can. For those willing to listen anyway..

I believe weapon throw is 240 second cool down base and 180 at full upgrade. I just wish it had a better chance to inflict heavy.

On the subject of PvP Liadan's right. It's 3 AP and we get a ranged attack that removes sprint when inflicted from behind the target and also has a 20% chance to inflict heavy. You get AP and skills you slowly get better and better. Making me feel DRGs are a bit of a late bloomer class. In my experience I started with impulse rush, then Purify, getting weapon throw next. Not to mention our spineshatter dive stuns for like 2 seconds, enough to secure a kill and leaves us next to a target. Jump still does silly damage and now is quicker, and coupled with mercy stroke makes us dangerous DPS. But I will concede that it is rough to chase people down without your jumps.

My guess is the GC you're currently aligned with is the one you're fighting for and you buy/upgrade ((if implemented)) your moves at a Wolves Den Adder/Maelstorm/Flames vendor ether with seals or special currency.

I meant to type Grand Companies of course. Mind thinking one thing you mean another. The resource thing makes alotta since. I was thinking more it was of a power scale thing my self. I'm just a wee bit scared of the balancing if certain moves are only on certain GCs

I'm just glad I can finally rearrange my hair style and facial hair now! The snow hair looks pretty cool, probably gonna rock it for the first few months. Though what really caught my eye is this little gem pictured here with track pad paint skills. It looks like there's going to be various skills of PvP based on Free Companies and your job. What I want to know is what do the diamonds mean? Are they a point buy style system where you have x amount and each power costs this or is it just how powerful they are against players?

That Warrior of Light Set. Seems sqaure is doing everything in it's power to disaude me from going Warrior tank. Unless it's for both tanks.

Yo if slots aren't't filled up I'd like to hop in on Dragoon. I need to study the video but I got Garuda lance and all but head, legs, and a ring of DL. My thing is another buddy of mine I would like to pair up with ((Who will hopefully be posting shortly.)) is a big of a under geared bard but she know's her class and she is a vet MMO player so I doubt there will be probs after we run her through the vid!

I will admit I was brought into the fan fold with EU, It slipped under my radar as I never really like games like this but after trying the demo I came see just how awesome the games were and bought it day one. Been meaning to play through the older ones one day. Just to see how broke Chrysalids were!

While I have no intended Real life counterparts to U'roh ((well not counting myself since he's a wee bit modeled after me albeit Miqo'te-fied.)) I would find my self trying to convince Benedict Cumberbatch to be cast as the Lancer cause fanboy of his performances in Sherlock and into Darkness. I will not lie.

I sadly had a surprise gathering with my friend's circle that day otherwise I had planned to come in and at least get U'roh involved.

This thread! Okay so I got a good one in the light of the ERP talk here. As I log into wow on my Blood elf warrior I get a reply to a RP between a forsaken friend with his IRL and In game girlfriend. In short it was a rather steamy scene of him using his forsaken.... abilities.... and dislocating his him arm for stuff.... to put it nicely. He promptly realized his mistake and started panicking, knowing I was likely laughing my backside off. ((I Was.)) Right away offering me a free months sub to shut up. I told him the ol' "It's cool what ever float's your boat man" Speech. But jeez this spawned a inside joke we only get we affectionately call "Put your hand in it." When we want the other to just shut up.

This actually sounds kind of fun. If I am reading right the next tourney would be Saturday? I Might have to have U'roh make a appearance!

I love the premise of the AC universe, how it scientifically explains all of humankind's myths and legends. Though 1's repetitive gameplay drove my ADHD insane. I loved 2, Ezio is just a awesome protag and frankly that's probably the reason I played him in Soul Cal tounies.... moving on! Black flag interests me with the inclusion of pirates and black beard but jeez I have far too much on my plate every one else here. I got ARR here, just no getting into the home stretch of getting Dragoon to 50, Diablo 3 console with buds every so often. Pokemon Y, the DICE fanboy in me is going to squeal in delight on tuesday with Battlefield 4. Not to mention Batman arkham origins... Jeez I have too much to play.

So after my last guild on Behemoth flopped and the free transfers went through this Dragoon has found himself RPless and lacking a free company, I came here to settle that problem for both me and my Bard friend! I have moderate experience with MMOs, my first ever being DC universe online when it released on PS3 back in 2011... I think, but played villain for years on PS3 on Killing Joke before Mega server merge. I played that game for the entire year it was Sub based and for about half a year after it went free to play. After a while I met one of my closest buddies and I got into a FF11 for a while, after that well she got me into the big boys. I played wow from april till the release of ARR! I should also mention WoW is my first experience of roleplaying in a MMO format. I've been RPing for years, started back when I was a angst ridden teenage high schooler on Gaia Online, then quickly bounced around various sites and been around the RP block. I found out about this place from a random google search actually. I vary in my tones of RP, I aim to strike a balance. Both playing the game as a MMO and role playing with in it. As such I'm being delayed on RP however to due crazy shinnagins keeping me from buying a USB keyboard. ((I'm a PS3 player.)) But I hope this place works out!
