Hello there! My character Mimikio has had her heart broken a little over a month ago. Her IC bf had left servers suddenly to help a cousin with a FC. Which has left Mimi trying to make some new friends. She has been successful to some degree but she is still looking for more. She has even started dating somewhat, but nothing lasting. But what it really comes down to is Mimi is looking for more friends and possibly a ic bf. OOC I am currently happily married and thats not going to change. Hello Im just gonna jump in and say whats going on without going into my characters backstory too much. Mimiko had a hard life growing up, but now she is starting a new and exciting life in the world. She has gone from a shy person to quite the eccentric bard. She wanders the land singing and dancing and can be found in many taverns in the land. Ive played with having her do some shady things but it does not appeal to me and I feel its not her true desire. Ive been having a lot of fun as a traveling bard. So I figured I would focus on that more and would like her to become like a pop star singer/dancer/entertainer. I figure this would fit her flashy personality. So this is where I need help and ideas. 1. I need help finding some short songs to make into emotes. Sadly Im horrible at finding something that would fit the game. 2. Would also need help with ideas for emotes. I would love to be able to do the little note symbol but sadly I play on a PS3 and that doesn't seem to work for me. 3. I think it would be neat to slowly build a fan base through role play. Or if any of you wonderful people have any suggestions I would love to hear them. You can leave a response or message me or find me in game, Im on Balmung server most nights. When it comes to friends or people she finds attractive, physical contact is very welcome. She loves hugs, being tickled, patted on the head and scratched behind the ears. Mimi just loves affection and love. But she hates it when she's singing or playing her mandolin in taverns, when patrons pinch or slap her backside. She hates it even more when people grab her tail using it to pull her back to them while saying "C'mere purrty girl!". Such actions usually result in a kick to the groin or a punch to the nose.

Well that explains my question why so many people name their characters Nunh or Tia. I think I'll have to be nicer to the "Tia's" of the world now. And to all the "Nuhn's" out there you'll get Nuhn from me.

Well I figured since everyone gave me such wonderful advice the least I could to is update you on the situation. I took the advice and spoke with this person IC and OOC about the situation…..lets just say it didn't go well. I basically sat there and listened to him turn the tables on me. He basically told me I used him to help run CT's and didn't need him anymore once I got geared. (Not true, by the way) He also claimed I do not spend enough time with him! After about 40 minutes of this which is 39 minutes longer than I should have stayed there I logged out to goto bed. Well since then he was not on his character all day yesterday, and when I log off I get a message on KIK ( a messenger that some of our FC members use) which said "Well hope you enjoyed your day not having to deal with me at all. Talk to you whenever." So I believe that was the last straw for me. If you try everything to keep me from leaving, but makes comments that drive me away. Then so be it. I am gone.

I take it your FC is rp based? I would like to rp with you guys sometime, that was a cute post. The pin ups is what had me sold! hehe

Hello, I have seem to have gotten myself into a sensitive dance with someone I rp with on FFXIV. Just to get it out there Im not in love with this person so its not that kind of situation. The only personal information he knows about me is that I live somewhere in Ohio and Im married. Well lets get to the issue. My character started a relationship with this fellow a while back when he joined the FC I am in. And for a few weeks it was all sorts of fun and good times. But his temperament IC and OCC has gotten a bit on the depressing side. I figured it was because of his age and he was away at college. But the mood for the rp had gotten pretty depressing, and fights would break out IC and OCC over little things. ( Examples. If I happened to miss an emote or tell or a line..his IC response was that I was ignoring him. Or If I wanted to run a CT or a dungeon, he would get upset OOC that I didn't want to rp with him. He gott OOC mad with me when I used my own gill to purchase earrings of the auction board. ) Now its gotten to the place where he wants me to rp all the time, and gets upset if I want to level or run CT's or rp with others. Its gotten to a point when I was tired and wanted to goto bed, and didn't finish the rp "session" he wanted to end his character and cancel his account. In all fairness its fun when he's in a happy non possessive mood. But this constant up and down is really starting to ruin my attraction to this game. Has anyone else had similar experiences? Or any advice I can do to keep things on a lighter mood?

Hello there! Just like the title says I'm a role player on Balmung server. I consider myself a beginner role player even though I've been doing it on other games. I find it's a fun time between grinding and adds more life to the game. I'll try not to say too much about my character on here. Figured it will come out in the rp. I'm currently in a Rp FC , and they are a fun group when they are around I'm not high level enough to run the dungeons so that leaves me time on my hands. I tend to walk around Cost Del Sol and Limsa Lominsa often when I'm not leveling. So if you want to make another friend please stop by and say hello. I have to add this next part please no erp stuff. I'm not gonna look down on people who do, it's just something I'm not in to.

Hello everyone! I would like to introduce myself. I am Mimiko Miyuki, and have only just arrived in Gridania a few weeks ago. Its been a big change getting use to way things work out there. But I have had the good fortune of enrolling into the Limsa Lominsa Gardens, a great bunch of students with very understanding and helpful faculty. It's a good thing too. I am a bit on the shy side, and have a hard time with large crowds. But if you are polite and say hello, I'll be sure to say hello back. Im looking forward to making many fantastic friends in the weeks to come. *Huggles* Mimiko (( I first started roleplaying, when someone had me try FFXI way a long time ago. I never really played video games much up until that point, I have to admit I was hooked. And soon after I had my own copy of the game. I played that game for years until most people I knew on the game had left for other games. So I eventually quit. And back to my life without video games, until some of the guys at work started talking about World of Warcraft, so I surprised them when I asked them about it and told them I had played FFXI. And they talked so highly about WOW that I went out and got my own copy. I have to admit I like that one as well. But the whole time I still missed my days of chasing adorable taru and placing them into my inventory. When I found out FFXIV was coming out I nearly jumped for joy. Then I played it…..it ran horribly on my pc….and it had bugs and such so I didn't make it to my 30day trial limit before I quit. And recently my fiancé had told me that they had updated FFXIV and fixed a lot of the issues the game had. I was happy but I knew my computer was old and wouldn't run it well, then he said we could get it for the Playstation. Shortly after that I had purchased a shiny new copy and I have been learning a new game along with learning how to use a game console. But Im having a fantastic time again, even though Im fumbling around, and soon enough I will be like a fish in water. I look forward to seeing you in game ! ))
