Butting-in also: Balmung's Finest (#1 - no, seriously, there are 2 of them. ) LS are also very interested in starting a static Learning Coil group as well from what's bbeen talked about. I believe there will be posts made by 'teachers' of their available times and people reply if they can make it. Though if a Coil LS is also starting please let me know - I aabsolutely love PVE end-game content but I don't have the people to do it with. And Lia: terribly sorry we couldn't get past Gaurda EX. I think a few times were my fault, but hey, we now have target markers for the ground!

Ooh! I could even Stream it for others to watch who are apprehensive over finding or doing EX, to take a look at the Instance and the mechanics. I know that feels - I have social anxiety but I have a friend who queues up with me and it helps immensely. I've literally cried during Titan HM because of how bad it was, haha. Mmn, as DPS it isn't too hard - it's more to do with positioning. At the start you stay around the middle to avoid the AOEs damaging the pillars, then you run behind the pillars to avoid being wanged on, then a few other things.. Though, it'll be much easier to show you in the actual fight. I wonder if anybody would be up for a learning party tonight?

I've had minimal experience in Garuda HM, but I've picked some of it up well enough. If anybody requires an iLevel 82 WHM, please let me know. I'd like to accomplish it, bit I don't mind trying it out to help others, either. Please PM me, OK.

I met the two loveliest Miqo'lads at the Gold Court and they were a Godsdamned hoot to hang around with. One of them was gifting the other a Valentione's present whilst I was waiting for Duty Roulette and I figured to /emote at them for shits and giggles, and surpisingly they came over - and my roulette popped. I thought, "Nah, nah, screw that roulette" and cancelled to continue RP'ing for over two hours with them. They had amazing synergy just in the way they bantered with one another: I would honestly watch a TV show where they just bitch at each other, and they were fast RP'ers which was a change of pace from how I normally typed, but it was a great oppurtunity and experience and I made new friends. Tali and Orry, I love you both.

Depends on her current disposition or moods, but if highly stressed, Elyscia would simply recoil at being touched, and her tolerances will differ depending on which race and gender. They're still varying levels of 'nope,' however. She's had a repeat offender, a supposed 'friend' constantly try to touch her even though she gave him stern warnings (two), and it ended-up in him being swiped at.

I play Hearthstone (EU) and Dota 2 if anybody wants to holla at me~ Used to play SWTOR and GW2 though, but no time.

I went right up to an Elezan female and stared at her until she replied (rather shyly), I just told her I thought she looked pretty, plus was too damn tall. Then she tried to feed me Gysahl Greens. I miss her. My character should be too inquisitive - but whilst refining her as my RP progressed I decided to take the cray-cray out of her (though it was so much fun to be a complete bumbling idiot and to touch people's tails..) Hmmn, I might take a whole day out just to initiate RP with everybody. Creep-mode activated~

My female Miqo'te is adopted by Hyurs, and I can at least provide insight as to why I personally did it. I am new to RP'ing - have only started 2 months ago, so a large part of my inexperience and ignorance is portrayed through my character: my inability to unable to massively research the lore properly, or understand certain aspects about the game. I chose Hyur, of course obviously being the race closest to humans, and as such I assumed there would be similarities where I wouldn't need to worry about sticking to the lore (well, I hoped.) There is a TV Trope I don't remember the name of.. basically, it's the 'Audience Relative' or something? Say, they put a very stupid character in a game, or anime, and because of his stupidity other characters around him explain to them about the world (like Ash in Pokemon.) Yeah, Elyscia is my 'Audience Relative.' I play her as incredibly, painfully naive - but hey, at least it's fun. So, why not create a Hyur character to RP with? My PVE Main character whom I do not RP with is a Hyur, and I did not wish to create another one - Miqo'tes were so very pretty to me, and I wanted to be of similar race to the friend who started RP'ing with me. TL;DR: I'm stupid, my character's stupid.

This is the first-time I've ever had an open-RP argument. My friend and I just wanted to go to sleep (it was turning 7am) but people joined-in and it was just too awesome to leave. On the right, you'll see my wee friend hiding behind the lamp post, eavesdropping/getting out of the fight. Aaand, no, I don't know who the lil' guy on the far left is. Wow... I am absolutely overwhelmed. I was told that the Roleplaying Community were the nicest, most friendliest people you could ever come across in MMO's, and I just... I was reading some of the replies whilst at work and it made me smile : ) Thank you so much everyone for all of your incredibly warm and encouraging words and advice! I appreciate it so, SO much! I probably won't have time to roleplay until Monday, but I will try and add all of you to my Friend list whenever I get on! It's such a shame that you can't send a pending friend invite if someone is offline : ( Funny thing is, despite my being so shy.. my character isn't.. lol. She is rather, in some ways, the person I wish I could be: do I see a lady who looks particularly pretty today during my travels? I will tell her she looks beautiful. Elyscia is very friendly and talkative and isn't shy at all, so I'm hoping it'll help break me out of my shell a little bit if I just go all out, randomly saying to people, "I LIKE YOUR EARRINGS!" or other spontaneous banter. Oh God.. so many posts to go through. Hmn. The game absolutely charmed me! The graphics were beautiful, the areas were vast and filled with wonders, the NPCs spoke in Mandirin, and for some reason my wings bugged so I could fly about infinitely and explore for as long as I wanted haha. I am not sure if I'll be able to be there for the Event this Saturday - 9pm EST is 2AM here but I don't sleep until 6am so it should be OK.. lol. I really hope to meet some of you guys there at least. Bah, well I need to go off to work now. So, I am completely new to the Roleplaying world. I have always been interested in roleplaying but never had the chance to until I met somebody a few months ago who also played FFXIV and said he would RP with me once I transfer servers (was on Shiva, now on Balmung). I am from the UK - Scotland. --MMORPG background RFO, Ragnorok 2 (before they re-made it - 5 years ago), Tera Online, Star Wars: The Old Republic, Guild Wars 2, Ether Saga Online, numerous other random FTP MMO's when I was bored. --RP experience I only started very recently, and I've been RP'ing with one person. I have been feeling incredibly shy about RP'ing in public. I know there isn't a 'right' way to do it, but I'm embaressed about whether or not I've described or explained what I said how I wanted to. I feel very shy about it. I know people tend to roleplay in party chat, but I don't know - I sometimes like the openness which means more people could join in should they wish to. --Character ideas/info Her name is Elysica Rose. She was found as an infant and Hyur-raised. (hence the non-traditional Seeker of the Sun name - also made it easier for me to roleplay because I find it hard understanding all the lore right now.) Grew-up in the countryside, but it was far from peaceful; it was a very, very small community with only Hyur so she was discriminated all her life and was subjected to racism, and she had trouble making friends. Her Hyur-family and herself are rather poor.. Her personality.. she's very happy; or at least tries to be. Very kind, sweet soul, yet incredibly naive and ignorant and doesn't understand how city life works. At all. Elyscia is 20 years-old. (Or something. Haven't fully decided yet...) The friend I roleplay with, his character is stern, stoic, finds her grievingly dumb yet can't help but feel he needs to do something to help her because he used to be in the same position (poor, living in the streets of Ul'dah in his youth and tried his best to make something out of himself.) --How did you learn about the coalition? Google and many Roleplaying Guides I read came from here --What kind of a role-player are you aiming to be? Light, medium, or heavy? This is kinda what I'm struggling with at the moment, but I thoroughly enjoy heavy roleplay. --Anything from real life you're comfortable with sharing? (Work, school, hobbies, etc) I work part-time, but the shifts are 12 hours Thurs-Sun. In my spare time I play a lot of competitive Dota 2. Really, that's all I do with my life: work, play Dota 2. I would play FFXIV a lot more, but on my Main character (whom I don't roleplay with) I finished my Relic+1, and I don't have that many people to roleplay with on Elyscia. So, yeah. That's me - or at least that's Elyscia so far. I really hope to uhmn.. do.. something here. Make friends here and in-game or something. Learn how to become a better writer/roleplayer. I don't know.
