  1. You can combine many of the facial emotion emotes with an action emote. And it will overwrite the 'default' expression for that emote. Like for her 'cool story bro' shot. I believe that is... /annoyed(?) with /thumbsup Yup! As he said this one is annoyed + thumbsup This one is taunt + yes This one is annoyed plus clap
  2. <3 Yours as well. I need to figure out how to image edit. I like the new poses , Natalie can finally be max tsundere.
  3. Natalie holds the letter, "Kage has more fight in him than I thought..." she muses, chuckling slightly. It wasn't hard to find Denn, the Roe was nothing if not flashy, and Natalie simply followed reports of her tall, purple haired presence. She finally came upon her, and thrust the letter into her hands, "Hey Denn" she says grinning tauntingly, "Kage wants a rematch".
  4. I have one of you! Someone tried to start trouble in the wrong town :cactuar:
  5. Maintenance has bored me, so time to spam screenshots. Watching Roen get eaten by a giant toad. RIP Roen. Did you know you could combine emotes?! I only found out recently "You wanna ave a fukin go mate? I'll bash ye head in swear on me mum" "Cool story Bro" The new rain effects make certain scenes a little more dramatic. And others a little colder. "Rawr im gonna get you!" Grah.... *weeps impotently at server maintenance*.
  6. Erik this is a most excellent idea, although we're going to have to actually do our jobs as sultansworn for once! Although actually standing around and guarding the Sultana sounds way more fun than it should be... Edit: As a side note, while the Sultana will not be abusing her power, she will be playing an NPC that needs to stay alive. So Erik, my fellow sultansworn, and myself, will all be power gaming to keep her alive. If this happens and someone tries to stab the sultana, sorry, it's not going to work. Of course I'm not saying people can't get up to any shenanigans, but if your goal is to kill nanamo, go into it knowing it's a losing battle. As long as people don't explicitly try to kill nanamo, then you have nothing to worry about, everyone else is fair game! Although I don't really expect any trouble.
  7. Does this mean Kage can ask Natalie to be his date? Well Natalie might be hosting the thing so to speak, and assuming kage passes his trial before then, she might need kage's help as well.
  8. Yeah, I'm excited. It should be pretty fun, . I don't know how hard it is going to be to get the new stuff, but this will be a good place to show it off!
  9. Although it's not IC, it's always fun when you get to 50 in a new class/job.
  10. Yeah I agree, nothing constructive will come of this. Especially now because both parties are known. It will leave nothing bad feelings all around.
  11. Honestly? I think the easiest solution for that particular scenario is that if you're going to play a criminal, or involve that element of crime in your story, you have GOT to play it smart. And people who interact with you, you can feel free to say, "I want to know WTF you're doing out here, because I didn't tell anyone where I was going and you weren't following me." Whatever you do, make sure you know what's going on with crime in a story. Ignacius is a terrifying criminal; I wrote a story about how brutal he can be not long ago. Most people wouldn't know that, though, because he's extremely careful and smart about being a criminal. He doesn't handle his business at Hawker's Alley and he makes sure nobody that knows who he is has any reason to give him up. Just like a criminal, you have to think ahead, think smart, and be prepared to only visit major cities under assumed names and with good disguises. On the same note, people who play law enforcement can't be omniscient or omnipresent. They can't be out on Coerthas if they're local law enforcement for Gridania; they've probably got work to do there. If they're out traveling, they're not looking for your character. I've never had a serious problem playing a cop or crook (and I play a LOT of the latter), because I keep my ducks in a row. Playing a good criminal is all about knowing exactly how wide your footprint is and making sure you know how to lay low. Playing a good cop is a lot easier. You just have to know how to not godmod. lol not again. edit: ok that was a bit snarky. To elaborate the issue in both cases is that someone who plays law enforcement tries to arrest another person who plays a law enforcement officer. Essentially saying 'I'm more law than you'. This is problematic for a number of reasons, it's saying, 'I'm the arbiter of what's law and what's not'. That's what happened in the thing I posted, and that's what happened with erik. /endderail
  12. I actually dealt with a similar issue in the past, but it went a bit further (people died). I think most people have seen it, but there was some good discussion on the issue. http://ffxiv-roleplayers.com/showthread.php?tid=6259
  13. Hey! I didn't love her . (Jk <3 Welcome to the blades Kage, now get your tank geared up!) And I want to be in the plotlines D:
  14. "As a soldier I devoted myself to the resurrection of Eorzea. There is no greater glory than dying for that belief!" [/align]
  15. Hey Steel I'm going to hold onto your gift. If you ever want to make a new Char I'll give it to them. Else I'll give it back to you whenever you want. I'm honored, but I think you're making a rash decision.
  16. Natalie laughs and raises her fist as well, "Onward explorers! Let us find a new land to call home". She casts an eye around the bar, before it lands on a table, unoccupied except for a female Roegayden. "That table is mostly empty... although she looks like she's reading". Natalie downs the rest of her ale, "Do you think we'd be disturbing her? It's not like we're loud or anything" Natalie says loudly.
