So I guess all of the hard work those of us who stuck with the game did doesn't matter then? Come on, we earned our gil, they already slashed it pretty dramatically. Most of this gil is going to get sunk in to relics and houses regardless. I want to also point out that there are VERY FEW RPers with a lot of gil. Most didn't bother with markets or crafts or selling or grinding. Just play on whatever server you want, no one is going to stop you, and everyone is going to have their own opinions. More of these debate threads just loop the conversation in to circles.

You can link any game you want through your steam account. Go to your steam library and choose 'Games' then 'Add non steam game to my library'. SE won't sell XIV through Steam.

I'm not sure the link method is working appropriately. It gives the error "The host of this conversation is currently offline. You can close this window and when the host is next online you will be added to the IM." I'm don't know if this is because it's directing to someone in particular in the chat, and I have terrible timing, or if the link method is just not working. 1. No one on this thread has asked for a name. To my knowledge that was the only thing that's ever been redacted or kept from the membership's general knowledge. I think the issue today was a result of the last parts of the log that was an accidental oversight due to the forum character limit. I'm just hoping people will put down their pitchforks and torches until something actually happens. I just want to correct a little bit. The issue was not brought up because the last part of the log was missing, it was redaction of content in logs (not limited to the redacted item you are speaking of, it was not the only thing redacted). It was already concluded by LS Leaders that they will speak of redaction.

That is why the topic was brought up and that's why it is being dealt with. While perhaps not a linkshell leader, you do apparently own all of the decision-making for the Wiki, you are the administrator of the large Skype channel that most RPers are directed to, and you seem to have taken on ownership of a voice chat as well. So it may be that you don't lead a linkshell community, but you are a very important and influential figure in this community and Aysun made an interesting point in spotlighting something where you'd redacted something you'd once said. I imagine you had good reasons for doing that, and I don't think anybody really leapt down your throat about that back then. Now it's already been advocated that future LS meetings be unedited and most everyone is in agreement about this. Or perhaps we'll open the thing up to everyone. At this point the whole thing is starting to feel bureaucratic and burdensome, and my understanding is that we're all here to have fun. This... is not. Is there actually anything more here that needs to be discussed or can this please, please be put to rest? Firstly, this isn't about me so I don't appreciate it being pushed back on me, because it has nothing to do with what I do on these forums. We are speaking about a public meeting, not basic forum conversations, so please stop diverting the subject. I might be influential, but I'm not a moderator or a LS leader involved in these discussions. I simply ended up taking on tasks. This thread has come to a pretty good close already regarding the opinions on the subject, there's no need for anything further. Again, this discussion was just fine until noses poked in. If anyone has conversation further on the subject of LS Leader Meeting Transparency, feel free to post!

There's discussion, there's expression of opinion.. and then there's these hostile "I'm right and you're wrong and hiding something" posts. That's when it just gets silly. I think the empire has guns, the Warrior got shot in the End of an era Cutscene. They do have guns, but only a few people RP with them. It's still not really clear how some people would react to the technology in Eorzea, but that doesn't mean some of us don't possess them

Because going back and editing your post changes the reactions of those responding to it, and in text format distorts everything. If you feel your post was brash or poorly worded in this meeting, make another post saying so or apologizing, so as to not alter everything after it. Edit reply: I can make another thread if you want but I posted this in a public place to encourage public discussion.

Let me reiterate again. I am not mad at a single meeting. I want transparency for every meeting. For everyone.

I also don't think LS leaders should be allowed to edit their posts like that, don't say something if you don't mean it. Also no, if there is content redacted, it is not transparent.

Thank you Ellie I appreciate your response. It's not like we are talking about abortion here. LS Leaders are the same as the rest of us, we are all accountable for what we say. The same thing goes for this linkshell meeting. If its that polarizing then take it to a private meeting. The LS Leader Meeting is touted for being a public thing, but in my opinion it's just being hidden away. I'm sorry Kylin, but I've seen the actual meeting notes because again, this is NOT a private meeting, and thus not considered gossip. I want transparency for others, not just for the last meeting but all the meetings. I have no interest in making anything a public vendetta I'm simply the first one who stood up against it. I have not named names nor stated any topics in particular that were redacted that I was upset about. I think I'm being very broad, plain and clear so please don't make assumptions.
